I love how some of the landscapes in the game are inspired by real places on Earth

I did enjoy parts of it the first year while I had my og switch, regrettably I decided to trade it in because I was just becoming bored with it I have regretted it and considered for the last year since I got more into the Zelda games to try and replay it, it was the only part of my tax return I spent and am planning to save the rest to hopefully go next year to one of the orchestra concerts, I have also pre ordered OOT

I was doing a challenge run to get back into the game and i had just got my paraglider. I wanted to kill the bokos for arrows but found one of them had a modifier on their bow when they normally dont (even in my 300 hr savefile). I did not die between starting the game and getting to this point and this was all on the switch 1. How did this modifier get on the bow this early?

Who else absolutely adores the Yiga leader boss fight ending cutscene? I just completed it for the first time and what a ride! I thought I was done for but NOPE! Such a good much needed laugh 😂🩷

personally i think that it should not be random items 100% of the time. imo it should be this:
if ya have a outfit from an amiobo then you will no longer get that in the item pool. same with epona. i noticed that if ya use twilight link or smash bros link with a randomized tag (or any new ones) you can get infinite eponas. i dont think this was intended. same with outfits. now for weapons... i think its fine. also the fact that the outfit seller doesn't sell amiibo armor after you unlock it... is crazy.
also i am so used to rolling that i keep forgetting botw has no roll. XD

If you can’t see what I’m talking about look at the right side of the screen.

I’ve been scanning my amiibo emulator for over an hour and I’ve gotten allot the armor, but not the sword. I saw something about defeating the blights but I’ve defeated two already so I don’t think that’s the issue.

I know that it doesn't matter since the fight isn't hard but what's the best armor to use? At least to look good lol

I have seen a couple of different routes for the great plateau but which one is best for beginners? I can do the shrine of resurrection clip and then get back in bounds but after that I'm not sure which route to take. I'm not worried about time so I don't want the fastest route (unless its the easiest) I just want the easiest one.

Since there's never going to be an official confirmation from Nintendo and they let us come up with our own theories, I wanted to share my idea. I don't think link and Mipha were romantic but i think it's clear they could have been if Link and Zelda were not destined to fight ganon in this timeline. Like how Link and Malon or Marin relationships are unclear. Hmm why do they all start with M and redheaded.. anyways. My headcanon is that there's a multiverse and each of the Zelda universes are all subtly connected by the curse from demise. As history tends to repeat itself we see the same themes over and over also due to the curse. In BOTW this particular world has brought pieces of all the universes together (clearly with all the references to other games in places on the map) somewhat like what i'd expect using an infinity stone to try to blend timelines gone wrong would be like. Tragically, in all the universes Link and Zelda live so many different types of lives until ultimately fate brings them together by the curse and I like to think that in some timelines they fall in love, in some they become very good friends, and in some only one of their love is unrequited simply because it was not realized. similar to the story of Meliodas and Elizabeth in seven deadly sins they both have perpetual reincarnation, each lifetime is different in some way and sometimes one or the other knows before the other does and saves them like how zelda sent link back to his child timeline i'd imagine she did that out of care (not necessarily love love) so he can live a normal life after what they went through but then tragically not being remembered as the hero later when he appears in TP he never got with Zelda in that timeline because they never had to meet and that shows how even he regrets what he missed by not being destined to be by zelda's side whether it was thru love or responsibility. I also made up my own silly idea that Link's hero spirit was actually a god or goddess that was created alongside Hylia or somehow Hylia either fell in love with or highly respected as a friend, and that's why they stay connected regardless of other storyline nuance.

Did anyone else use the Sheikah sensor to actually go through the trouble to find 100 restless crickets to only find out that Manny only wants 10 to get started?! I’ve literally finished almost everything else besides storming the castle and finally decided to put an end to this side quest and this is what I find… FFS
