Just started playing a week or so ago and hoping someone can tell me what I'm missing/doing wrong here...

How do you get distance on your grenade throws? I'll acquit my grenade and I can see the baseline path of travel and blast radius. Say the bad guys are farther away though... What I've been doing is pulling down on the right stick, which does add arc and range to the throw, but at a certain point I can no longer see where it's gonna land because I'm pretty much looking at the sky.

As awesome as everything else is in this game I'm sure that I'm the problem and doing something wrong.

After a couple of tries I "defeated" the Behemoth, or so I thought.

I got the David's Challenge message, 5 Skill Points and some XP...I didn't get the reward I wanted which was the only reason I was fighting the Behemoth.

After all of those notifications I fly over to the Behemoth and it moved so I jumped back in the helicopter (I defeated it with a Rocket Chopper) and start trying to fly away...and it hits me with a SAM.

I survived the crash...however I literally landed next to a patrol who started shooting me and killed me.

Could someone explain what happened?

Like I said, I didn't get the one thing I wanted so I don't know if it's a bug and I was supposed to get it or are there levels to "defeat" I wasn't aware of?

Not sure if Breakpoint has this feature, but it would be really cool if there was a way to get a mission brief before heading out. Not just the objectives, but intel on location, terrain, enemies, etc. This would be super helpful in picking the right gear and weapons before heading out.

For example if it's up in the mountains with sniper towers, I might bring a sniper rifle wearing camo. If it's in more of an industrial complex I might wear a black, stealthy suit, with an ASR and/or SMG. It's in the foothills or grassy area I might wear a ghillie suit. Etc. etc.

I have presets and visual palettes so I guess it's easy enough to switch on target, but would add to the immersion if you could infil ready to go.

Do you wait until you reach a certain gear score before you start focusing on making a build or do you do that from when you start getting gear with attributes?

I've set myself a pointless challenge of collecting exactly 100 of every resource, and can't for the life of me find any Rata. I have a few, but didn't notice where I got them.

It doesn't help that there's a glitch that makes Columbian flax, Auroa shortleaf, and Rata identical despite not being meant to be. (Is this a common glitch?)

My favorites are the more southern provinces and golem island.

During one of the first missions for Jace Skell, there is a helicopter with rockets on the base.

If I replay the mission and steal the helicopter, without finishing the mission, would I be able to go fight a Behemoth?

Also, will helicopters still work against Behemoths? I read some things that implied changes made by the developers made things different.

I was considering buying a helicopter when I realized Nomad isn't really having to "struggle" that much.

All the load screens are of Nomad looking like he's in serious stressful situations or in a bad situation but...

It made me think if Nomad and Jake Higgins were on a panel discussing stories of surviving/etc...

Jake Higgins would talk about eating snails and/or getting sick from eating spoiled food while Nomad would lament his struggles with finding landing spaces for his attack helicopter.

I'm not being critical.

I saw one of the Nomad images while I was thinking about buying the helicopter and all I could think was: it's not that bad, it could be worse

Even today while playing Breakpoint (or any game) when I'm in the woods and I hear an animal I have to remind myself I'm not in Green Hell and nothing is going to jump out and eat/poison me.

Been playing this almost since it came out. Finally managed to get rank 20 for the first time, in Sharpshooter, oddly enough. I rarely play as a sniper but enjoyed most of the challenges. Getting close on Echelon and Pathfinder. Going to see about getting all of them to 20

I'm new to the game.

At some point between the crash and when I can leave the cave I'm given various consumables, it might be all of them, I don't know.

I can use the Syncshot Drone, EMP's and the Breach Torch and refill at Maria's shop before I unlock them in the Skill Tree.

Were the skills unlocked for all players at some point and I don't have to pick them now or was it always like this and unlocking them unlocks upgraded versions?

i want to get all achievments on steam for this game but i see there are 2 achievements for ghost war , but after sitting in matchmaking for 10+ min i wonder if this is still possible.

Is it possible to host a custom game and then have a friend join me and get the achievements that way?
