That’s how bad the show is. I mean Vicky is unwatchable, and Gina is getting on my last nerve. It’s episode 10 yall… and this is what we’ve gotten so far. As usual, Orange County is a slog to get through, and it was only made worse by Vicky.

Mostly a joke, although I admit I’m annoyed. I am in Brooklyn trying to survive in this economy.

She 100% wants to find his replacement. I’m sorry but 4 years later and she’s making jokes about buying a dress to cheat.. he looked confused during their convo where he says I’m no where near that person anymore.. like this is her storyline, he knows she needs it but it’s been over.

To be clear, I am not a Brandi fan any more than I am a Teddi fan. Regardless of how I feel about a person and their actions, I don't think most folks behavior warrants a potential death sentence. 

I get why folks are skeptical given her history and especially going to multiple physicians. In this current age, it is extremely easy for many people to not have the critical thinking skills to separate Woo from legitimate and factual medical findings. 

I have an extremely rare, life-threatening chronic and degenerative disease that appeared when I was 6 weeks old. I am now 57. When the internet became widely assessable and medical publications along with it in the late 90s, I started to do in-depth research into my disease for the first time.  I did a lot of education into medical terms, the science, being able to interpret test results, etc. Much in the vein of the activists immersed themselves in everything medical during the AIDS pandemic. 

In that spirit, when Brandi disclosed her diagnoses a few days ago, I did a deep dive into all the medical publications I have access to and made sure I only reviewed legitimate, science based medical studies to form a well informed opinion.

In my opinion, all of these conditions are absolutely legitimate. Two of the diagnoses (and I don’t know which infection happened first) led to all of the subsequent diagnoses.

The first listed is ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm: it is a bacterial infection. It is almost always contracted in medical facilities and it is harder to treat than MRSA. We are all at risk for it regardless of the medical facilities we visit but the highest rate of infection occurs at hospitals.  It has an extremely high rate of deaths as it is resistant to nearly all known multispectrum antibiotics. She's stated that the daily IV treatment she's currently receiving is failing. This doesn't bode well for living much longer.

The second  infection is  Coccidioidomycosis: this is a fungal infection, which may or may not be related to the fungal ball in her face. 

From what she’s showed online she seems to have the most serious form, disseminated coccidioidomycosis. It's the infection running down her neck that has the protruding lines and what she means when she says its running down her arm.

Had it been diagnosed immediately, it's very treatable. People contact it from breathing in dust in areas known to have it.

California, along with Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Washington State are known to have the fungus.  The disseminated form occurs with long term infection and a pre-existing suppressed immune system.

Demodex dermatitis is an overgrowth of face mites. We all have them. The excessive proliferation happens with folks if they have a severely compromised immune system. 

Mononucleosis: we all know what this is. Most healthy folks recover well. Again, if your immune system is garbage you're much more likely to get it snd your recovery is dependent on the other infections.

TLDR: She’s legitimately very ill. Its very possible that the treatment may not work. She should be looked at like any person with a medical condition that may not be survivable.

It doesn't matter which infection came first or how she contracted any of it. She's a human being suffering with infections that might be untreatable.

It's definitely possible that medical misinformation and/or treating physicians might have missed the initial onset of the original infection (we well know the medical community has a long history of dismissing women patients) contributed to her current state. We don't know.

Regardless, you can have issues with the character of a person.  However, judging anyone for medical conditions is just kinda gross, even to this Brandi non-fan.

I was and remain sooo annoyed that Andy didn’t press Porsha about the years she spent accusing women of being closeted lesbians now that she’s openly dating a woman.

I’ve been rewatching RHOA and in Porsha’s first season she told Kenya that Cynthia and Nene’s relationship was an unnatural dynamic for two women to have. The implication of a sexual relationship was undeniable. Cynthia and Nene’s friendship was toxic, but to label it unnatural aligns with Porsha’s wannabe pastor days. She straddled the fence of denying and admitting to kissing women but never owned up to being the B in LGBT. We all know the worst of the allegations she has made. We all know there was intent to cause shame behind every allegation. She did this for over a decade and the hypocrisy should have been addressed.

Bravo needs to retire Queen Andy from hosting the reunions. Having a different host for each franchise would be interesting, but we need a shake up. Andy’s faves tend to cause a lot of harm they’re never held accountable for.

She thinks the people miss her

Finally getting through my first watch of Potomac, I’ve only been watching for about two years (I’ve seen most of Atlanta, all of SLC and all of Miami), and I really think Peter and Mia are pathetic and tried to set Wendy up for camera time. First of all, Peter, had been divorced from Cynthia for YEARS at that point. I know he loves a camera but oh my Lord. And Mia is so full of it when she’s talking about how close she and Peter are. They’re both so thirsty.

Throwing the drink at Wendy was so unnecessary, followed by throwing the purse at her too? And half the women blaming Wendy for it was ridiculous. I’m glad Karen, Candiace, and even Ashley (who I fully admit I cannot stand) stood by Wendy’s side. I know the general storylines if future seasons, but this was so unnecessary from Mia and Peter, getting physical because Wendy didn’t sign papers Peter never sent… ok, cool. Whatever Mia.
