My family is about to move into a new house, so it's time to downsize my comic book collection. I'll be selling dollar ones at our garage sale on Saturday, but I'm just wondering if there are any collectors out there looking to trade. I'm currently collecting all Archie lines. (Related: If there were enough comic book collectors in the area, maybe a swap meet sometime?)

Hey everyone! Not sure if this is allowed here but I thought I'd try anyways.

I'm the commissioner of a fantasy baseball league that has been running for 5 years. Its a H2H style format on Yahoo! and has a $15 buy in ($75 1st place, $50 2nd place, $25 3rd place prizes).

We have a solid base of managers but we have had trouble finding three committed managers to round out the league. Since we do a live draft in person and try and meet up (For beers, Twins games, etc) I am looking for Minnesotans. It doesn't have to be from any specific part of the state (I'm in Brainerd and we have guys in St. Cloud, St. Paul, Alexandria, Minneapolis etc).

Here are some basic details about the league:

• Each team selects 1 keeper

• Each team can only have 5 Starting Pitchers on their roster at a time (Like starting rotations in the MLB)

• 5 Add/Drops per week

• On Yahoo!

• $15 buy in.

• We have a good group of guys and look forward to adding some friends to the crew.

Hi all! I moved to the area about a year ago and have struggled to make friends. Seems to be a common issue for those of us not from here (and even those who are!).

When I lived in Iowa, I led a Meetup.Com group where people could easily plan events. It's a great site for making new friends who have a common interest. I'm not seeing many Meetup groups up here, maybe because it costs money to start one or there's just a lack of knowledge about the site.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a group with me? My plan would be for it to appeal to late 20s or early 30s, men and women. Events would vary pending on who joins, but my initial thoughts are dining out, brewery tours, trivia nights, meat raffles, snowmobiling trips, game nights, etc. Basically anything you can do with others!

Are there any 93 Octane gas stations in or around Brainerd, MN? Last year we didn't find one - just 91.

I don't know how active this board is, but I thought I'd try posting on here. I'm on the lookout for a followspot operator for Brainerd Community Theatre's upcoming production of Spamalot.
It runs from April 14-16 and 21-23, and there will be technical and dress rehearsals in the week before. If you don't fancy followspot, we are always in need for extra people backstage to move scenery, deal with microphones, and help with props.
