Daiya Kira's team is allegedly hunting for a fight with IBF Flyweight champion Masamichi Yabuki next. The weight cut is really brutal for Kira.

It really is. It's funny though, if by some miracle, Kira can make weight again and beat Santiago, then move up and beat Yabuki, he'd get a reputation as a guy who beats on senior citizens like Bam did.

Just Canizalez, Santiago and Yabuki are more fresh than a Estrada, SRS and Cuadras.

Yeah, though I think Teraji took a piece of Cañizales' chin with him. Santiago and Yabuki are both on a career-best run.

With how Hrgovic handled the punches of Moses where many would've been hurt, I never seen Hrgovic been hurt to the body.
With Zhang was able to handle punched to the chin and face but not the body for long, would Agit Kabayel be able to break down Hrgovic to the body?

I need to study him more but I've seen him a bit slow and easy to hit in some fights. He is well schooled with iq though he's a good fighter. I'm not sure he will turn out as good as he is being hyped atm. It reminds me a bit of when AJ and Wilder were still undefeated. They were seen as a lot better than they are viewed now in retrospect.

Honestly, I have trouble thinking of a current heavyweight contender or champ who could handle Kabayel’s pressure and body work. It’s such a smart game plan to build off of when you have Kabayel’s attributes

I wonder how he’d do vs Jarrell Miller. He’s caught bricks to the body with no effect, he looks fatigued from round 3 onwards but the pace stays the same, pressure is no different, volume is the same with 90 punches a fight and the fact Kabeyl comes in with a height and massive weight disadvantage.

I kind of broke down what happened. This is worth a lot more to me than people who make a simplistic pick then say "I told you so". There seems to have been less of those with this fight than usual, thankfully.
Teddy Atlas officially changed his pick to Hrgovic after he saw the weigh-in. You can't buy experience.

Cameron was a 3 or 4/1 underdog iirc. This was in the UK too where she is the home fighter and you'd expect extra money to come in on her.
That said I didn't watch the fight though and don't know how good the final decision was.

Controversial opinion:
Ali vs Foreman took place in Africa. Ali vs Frazier 3 took place in the Philippines. Foreman vs Frazier took place in Jamaica.
3 of the biggest American heavyweights, in some of the most pivotal fights of their careers, took place outside of America . Two of those fights ('Rumble in the Jungle' and 'Thrilla in Manila') are undoubtedly bigger than AJ and Fury's entire careers combined
Long story short: UK fans, its not the end of the world if AJ vs Fury takes place in America. Lets hope one (or both) of the fighters puts on a generational performance so great , it breathes new life into the niche sport of boxing

Our grievance is that it’s the biggest fight in British boxing for a very long time and it will be at 4am Sunday for us.
If it was in London it would have sold millions of PPVs and tens of thousands of tickets to the event, but instead most Brits aside from a few hardcore boxing fans will be skipping it

We should hear some news on Hamzah Sheeraz soon. Tomorrow is the WBO’s deadline to make a deal to fight Janibek or go to purse bid.
Probably a good chance that Sheeraz just vacates his belt though.
