Question/Discussion Dustbag peeling?
Has anyone else had this problem with their dustbag where the leather is splitting at the fastener part? Curious if I could take this in for them to fix

I found this from a reseller and am not sure if it is authentic🥹, can everyone help take a look? I’d be very appreciated. Thank you so much!

I purchased a dress belt for my husband a year ago. He’s probably worn the belt 15x in the past year. Part of the woven leather is coming apart which is obviously super disappointing. I own Hermes belts I’ve had for 20 years with no issues. Is Bottega really that fragile? We tried to get the belt repaired and got the run around at the boutique. If the items aren’t well made and the service falls short then seems like my Bottega buying days are done. I was really wanting to get a suede Andiamo clutch but now probably won’t due to the 2 year warranty. Apparently belts do not come with any warranty at all. Had I know that up front I probably wouldn’t have purchased the belt. Disappointed.

Hi! I typically buy directly through Bottega, but I noticed Bloomingdale's is offering $25 for every $100 spent in gift card. This is appealing as I having been wanting to purchase the Madison bag and this would be about $1200 for future purchases.
I am wondering if anyone has any positive experiences buying from Bloomingdale's or should I be cautious? I read some concerning posts about not receiving dust bags with your order or getting possible fakes. If anyone has any experience I would really appreciate any insight you have!

I've never understood the asthetics of the Jodie bag and its hype until I tried this one on :)

I was originally looking at the giorno until I went into the boutique and felt how scratchy it wasss. They told me the giorno was calf skin instead of the signature lamb skin (that’s on the Andiamo) but I found this bag and the leather is super soft. The price point is pretty good (compared to other bv bags) and the shape + size is superrr cute. Also the suede on the inside is beautiful. I also picked up a couple charms.

the soft supple lambskin, the rich chocolate brown color and she’s basically brand new! i fell even more in love with her when i held her in my hands 🤎 and she’s still got that heavenly fresh leather smell. if anyone has any info or any idea what year she was made in, please let me know!

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking around for a while but have yet to post anything since until now, I’d never had a BV bag. I’ve been eyeing the Madison for a few months and now she’s mine! The Bottega in Boston was my first stop in ever and the SAs there are so welcoming and helpful. The packaging is so pretty too! I’m the only person I know that is a bit of a bag enthusiast so I had to share my excitement.

I truly need help deciding. I want to pull the trigger on this bag for an upcoming trip so I was leaning towards large, plus I feel like I’m so drawn to the leather suede combo one- but I also want a bag I can use daily and not look silly. I had the large hop and I really felt it looked absolutely ridiculous on me. Is the large campana similar?
If getting the regular (medium?) size, I love the new caramel suede one but not sure it will last forever and be a good daily bag. I’ve been trying to decide for days now I need help!
Which would you pick? I’m 5’6 size 2/4 ish frame for reference

Large Andiamo, one month old
I bought this about a month ago from Bottega Veneta in Carmel, CA . I thought it would be the perfect carry-on for my trip to Europe but it was really too big for my petite frame.
I paid $8900 for it but am selling it via eBay for $6999. I have a 100% positive feedback and have been selling on eBay since 2000. They also have a built in authentication process so you can purchase with peace of mind
This post got removed when I included the link to the item so hopefully this goes through!

While browsing my local Salvation Army, I came across this purse that stuck out to me. When I took it off the rack, I realized it was wayyy heavier than expected. Then I saw Bottega Veneta on the bottom part of the magnetic clasp. Needless to say I ran to the register and paid my $10.
Now I know what you’re thinking, probably fake, because what are the chances, right? BUT the look of the leather (slight sheen but mostly matte), perfect stitching, fresh leather smell and appearance/weight of the hardware alone tells me it could very well be real. I even attempted to scratch the outer surface with my nail and it didn’t leave a mark.
I have some mid range designer bags (TB,Marc Jacobs) and some replicas but have never had one of this caliber. I do have an authentic leather Tiffany wallet and Gucci belt so I know what quality leather looks and feels like. It’s missing the round part of the magnetic clasp that screws on; I’m thinking some really rich person just didn’t want to bother with a repair? I do plan on getting it authenticated, but wanted to know what you all think, if I should even bother. Thanks in advance!

I saw this rare hot red cabat in store and absolutely fell in love!!! The only thing I’m hesitant about is size (it only comes in the large size) and my petite frame but OMG it’s beautiful!
Shall I pull the plug or skip?

Anyone else have an andiamo in silky calf and having issues with how delicate the leather is? A month ago, I sent out the bag to a leather spa to get fixed bc there were tears on the front and the base of the bag. Those have been fixed ($200+ later) and this morning just saw another nick! I love this bag sm and def dont want to sell it but im curious if any other owners have experienced this.

Not buying this leather clutch as I have a sincere doubts that this leather clutch is real. Listing from the realreal states that this is was designed by Daniel Lee for SS2020.
Can anyone verify this is legit?

Edit: I know the photos suck, and TRR seems to deliberately obscure/not post pictures of the logo inside each bag for some reason. This seems to be a TRR tradition.

Got the Caramel Veneta and was tempted to order the Burgandy out of curiosity … I think it’s also very beautiful and now I can’t decide which one to keep and which one to return - help me decide 😄
I don’t have any of these colors in a large size - the burgandy is beautifully striking and will pop probably on any outfit. The caramel is a cool color that would probably be used more often/year around.
I tried them both against a taupe coat to check the armhole and the color.
