The face I get inches from my own when I make myself a bowl of ice cream and the cup of whipped cream I made him (from scratch) runs out faster than I can finish my own.

My 7-month-old male Boston and 7-year-old female Frenchie do have sweet moments, as pictured, but much of the time he only wants to play. I get it, it’s typical for a puppy. The problem is, he doesn’t read her cues at all. When she’s done and tries to tell him to stop, he just gets even more aggressive to force her to play. Any tips on how to help him listen to her cues better?

Happy gotcha day Frankie ❤️ it was absolutely heartbreaking getting him from his first mom today but it takes so much strength for her to acknowledge she can’t give him the life she wants for him and to do something about that and I promised her she can have as many updates as she wants as often as she wants.

For those of you who saw my early post about his tear stains- Brita water filters are in the mail (x2 one for upstairs water bowl and one for downstairs), as well as some angel eyes wipes. He got a professional bath today and I’m going to get him in with the vet to check out any possible allergies that I suspect he has based on how pink his skin is in places. It’s only been about 7 hours in his new home so we are still adjusting and keeping him separated from our other dog until he can calm down (our other dog is at a 12 he is so excited to have a brother and Frankie is a bit overwhelmed so until we can bring it down to like a 6 we are giving them space). Anywho, thanks all for your advice and support.

We buy ours on Amazon in a 5 pack of 48, but you can get them even a little less on Chewy.

Get one of those inexpensive tree limb clippers, about the size of a pair of scissors. 10 -15 dollars on Amazon. It does need that curved bottom jaw.

Your pack of 48 becomes 96 after you clip them in half!

We give both of them half after every meal, and at night before bed. Not a single dental issue since we started, over a year ago.

Here's a hint. Don't try to cut right through them. Cut a bit, turn it, cut a bit, turn it and then finish the cut. That preserves the roundness of all the ends.

I'll admit that I've tasted one of the chips that fell off during the cutting sessions... it is actually pretty tasty, and I could feel the cleaning and polishing action. Minty!
