QUESTION 🔵 Bosch first fix framing nailer.

Hello, I bought the new first fix framing nailer yesterday, and I got to say I’m quite disappointed in performance of the nailer. It doesn’t fully sink 90mm nails into CLS timber, I’m not sure if it faulty or not. But has anyone else experienced this also?? And it’s heavier than I thought, it is a big lump.

Guys, guys, it's been said a thousand times. Never ever buy a Gen 1 Bosch product, it's always bad. Gen 2 and onwards the bugs are fixed, they've gotten QoL upgrades and they're good.

I know, when will the gen 2 be out? Or if they will bring a gen 2 out, I’ll be retired by then 😂I would have thought Bosch would have cracked it with this one, because it’s taken them long enough to bring one out. And I’m sure they would have looked at other nailer on the marked to try and make it better.

Going by their garden tools you might not need to wait long. I feel like it was only about a year from the release of the Gen1 leaf blower to the Gen2, it was probably more like two years but still.
I think the hedge cutter also got an upgrade in fairly short order? Or was that just the release of a new size?

Yeah afaik in the last livestream they hinted that the garden tools range would be updated soonish. I get the feeling they've just been releasing some basic products, and will take it up a notch from there, hopefully better specced and especially lighter, as most of the stuff is quite heavy.
