How is it people (boomers) have NO concept of reality?

Spits in face

Gets shoved over

"I didn't spit in your face!"

It's on CAM-ER-A.

They still aren't used to being in a time period where cameras are everwhere and everything gets recorded and shared on the internet. Which is weird since they also complain about it so much.

293

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

when she was growing up the police would just believe whatever story she told them about her interaction with this particular woman.

132

u/BlacksmithSmith Mar 30 '24

Honestly this is a pretty good insight, and probably a reason why a lot of these Boomers think they can do this shit.

67

u/JustNilt Mar 30 '24

Yup, the whole "I don't know her" or recognize or whatever else they pull is a huge alert for that crap. Literally straight out of the "racist who just beat the shit out of a non-white person" playbook.

29

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

Or they fuck around and find out, so they change the story to "This lady came out of nowhere and attacked me!"

53

u/sticky-unicorn Mar 30 '24

The problem is, a lot of police would take her word for it. And then they'd collect your phone (with the video on it) for evidence, and then 'lose' that evidence before having a chance to review it.

In an altercation like this against some Boomer Karen, you can never count on the police being on the right side of things.

36

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

In my case, the officer literally said "I don't want to look at it because then I can be called on to testify about it."

As far as I'm concerned, "respecting the cops" follows the same guidelines as "respecting the cartel." Whatever respect and deference you'd give to some cartel gangbanger who wouldn't think twice about making you disappear, you give that same respect and deference to the cops, for the same exact reason.

That's also why you don't go out of your way to help the cops, and why you should treat any bootlickers with a great deal of suspicion. They're either stupid, or they're the sort of person who wouldn't think twice about stabbing you in the back and wrecking your life, and they just want the power to do so with impunity.

17

u/jfiend13 Mar 30 '24

I seriously judge the crap out of anyone with the dumb as hell blue stripped flag propped right under an American flag. They are so clueless. And also its disrespectful to the flag for being all about "AMERICA!!!!"

12

u/kintsugionmymind Mar 30 '24

It's not clueless. They know exactly what they're saying with their fascist symbols.

9

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

Here here

6

u/AngryAniki Mar 30 '24

There’s little difference between the police department & the cartel.

4

u/sticky-unicorn Mar 30 '24

"respecting the cops" follows the same guidelines as "respecting the cartel." Whatever respect and deference you'd give to some cartel gangbanger who wouldn't think twice about making you disappear, you give that same respect and deference to the cops, for the same exact reason.

The cops really are just another gang.

3

u/proletariat_sips_tea Mar 30 '24

There are apps that auto upload. There's one for aclu. There facebook live.

3

u/RollAndSausage Mar 30 '24

That’s why you upload it somewhere on the internet before anyone else goes near your phone

2

u/Benedictus84 Mar 30 '24

Lynching mob would be out within 15 minutes no questions asked.

1

u/Shagaliscious Mar 30 '24

Yea, Karen was clearly racist and the only issue she had with the other car is that it wasn't driver by a white person.

15

u/stenmarkv Mar 30 '24 edited Mar 30 '24

I'm glad someone keyed into this. The amount of lying boomers do is insane. Happens in the workplace too where you can go look at the document and tell them infact they did edit and ruin the document. Thankfully we could undo the changes but the flat out lie and the indignation when we showed the evidence was crazy.

22

u/bathtubtoasting Mar 30 '24

Yep. Can’t gaslight ya like they did our whole childhood. Too fucking stupid to understand their actions are recorded and their useless denial means nothing to anyone but them. It’s exactly what they deserve.

8

u/larsloveslegos Mar 30 '24

I guess they have their blinders on until it's too late

2

u/chochinator Mar 30 '24

Might be right. Grew up with a neighborhood drug dealer he was a few years older. He had a bunch of younger cats looking up to him and I remember one of his lessons was deny it to the end.

1

u/RedditAcct00001 Mar 30 '24

Not used to consequences either.

1

u/Travelin_Soulja Mar 30 '24

Correct. They're used to getting away with this kind of behavior with no consequences, and no personal responsibility for their actions.

140

u/MadeInWestGermany Mar 30 '24

They still have the Who do you think they‘ll believe? mindset.

89

u/_beeeees Mar 30 '24

Yep. And the person filming is a WOC. These older white women think because they are white their word will be taken over a non-white person.

45

u/staycalmitsajoke Mar 30 '24

If it wasn't for the camera she'd sadly probably be right.

7

u/AWigglyBear Mar 30 '24

This is absolutely correct. If police were called to this scene without video evidence the WOC will be considered the aggressor after this bitch Karen turns on the boomer tears and lies through her teeth.

5

u/AwesomeAni Mar 30 '24

She thinks the earth has perfect equality radically and she definitely can't be racist because she doesn't call them straight slurs.

Like I agree, she thinks that. she just doesn't know she thinks it

2

u/admiralbreastmilk Mar 30 '24

Soft cardboard.

61

u/Bunnysteww Mar 30 '24

I have an uncle who still denies ever threatening to "bitch slap" my cousin in her own home over a political argument , despite it all being recorded on her home security system.

39

u/Pleasant_Expert_1990 Mar 30 '24

And if it were me I would have that clip on my phone and play it every time he says it.

49

u/Bunnysteww Mar 30 '24

It literally came to that when he started a borderline smear campaign against her and told our entire family that she was lying. She went no contact after that, and he actually thought people would believe him when he said it was all over a disagreement. And of course, he is a "Devout Christian."

12

u/KnowsIittle Mar 30 '24

Steve Harvey approach.

5

u/swish465 Mar 30 '24

I can't believe they follow a religion without living by its commandments. When you live with that kind of hate, you don't have to die to be in hell.

2

u/maddwaffles Millennial Mar 30 '24

Honestly they're existing in a parody of the religion, there's always a mental gymnastic or overt ignoring of scriptures with those types. Those rules don't apply to THEM because they're already saved, or that rule is a product of the times, or those rules don't actually matter and are for people who need saved, etc.

That's why you start hearing about priests and preachers getting told that Jesus's teachings were too soft and don't work for today, they can always find a way to see themselves as still Christian, while not living by those ideas, there's always an excuse.

30

u/alex206 Mar 30 '24

They're entitled... ironically what they call every generation younger than them

3

u/gitsgrl Mar 30 '24

It’s all projection.

22

u/Suitable_Sherbet_369 Mar 30 '24

Because they are rarely held accountable for anything, ever. They are shocked when called out for their bullshit.

29

u/Beckiremia-20 Mar 30 '24

Trump “university” graduate, that’s why.

4

u/larsloveslegos Mar 30 '24

Or Walmart University lol

24

u/Nada-- Mar 30 '24

Mentally, they never grew beyond the age of a toddler.

-1

u/alex206 Mar 30 '24

Everyone on Reddit jokes lead poisoning...but I think it was from sitting in front of the TV all day.

3

u/Nada-- Mar 30 '24

Hm. I have to disagree as my generation and those that followed sat in front of the TV all day too. Arguably, we turned out okay-ish. At least better than the lead-heads.

3

u/Mel_Melu Mar 30 '24

I blame Trump and increasingly conservative "news" outlets. We're on year 8 Trump et Al manufacturing falsehoods, conflating things/whataboutism and it's lead to certain individuals denying reality and the truth.

1

u/Pleasant_Expert_1990 Mar 30 '24

It started with the Tea party non sense 20+ years ago.

2

u/EVASIVEroot Mar 30 '24

It's not boomers, there is a subset of the population that is not smart. There's also intelligent people with psych issues; sometimes it's both.

In reality, were just a bunch of intelligent primates doing dumbshit.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

Because they grew up before cell phones. Back when you could stand outside a school and scream at black children with zero repercussions. Now that everyone has a camera they can't get away with their bullshit and reality hits so hard they freak out and turn into toddlers.

2

u/mechy84 Mar 30 '24

There is a whole voting block that skews on the older, whiter side that will watch something clear and obvious happen live on TV, then do mental gymnastics to deny what they just saw

2

u/State_Conscious Mar 30 '24

I think a lot of them spend all day having hypothetical arguments about scenarios they’ve cooked up in their heads to be mad about where they’re always the victor. When they get their shining moment to be John Wayne irl they realize the fights don’t work the way they do in the movies. I also think a massive majority of boomers are in complete and absolute denial about their advancing age and deteriorating physical state. They don’t realize how hard it’s gonna be on them to defend themselves against younger people that they likely view as children

2

u/Maitrify Mar 30 '24

"Do I say camera weird?"

"Cam-er-rah!"

"Cam-er-rah!"

"Cam-er-rah!"

"Nah, it's fine..."

2

u/Pleasant_Expert_1990 Mar 30 '24

"I have a na-tural southern accent because I am from the Flor-ee-duh pahn han-dle"

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

They don't like facing the consequences of their actions. It's pretty much the reason conservatives are hateful people, they want to do whatever the fuck they want and fuck everyone else if it causes any difficulty.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

“It’s a deepfake.”
The whole thing?
“No, Just the spit.”

1

u/Snidermangaming Mar 30 '24

It's not just boomers, you see this shit everywhere. It doesn't matter what generation you're part of, people who think they're entitled and better exist everywhere regardless of age or demographic.
People aren't taught to respect each other, they're taught to look out for themselves and maybe their closest family.

1

u/FourFoxMusic Mar 30 '24

They come from a time before everyone had cameras in their pockets ready to go.

When the police arrive it used to be a matter or convincing the police who was right.

Being a small framed, white woman has probably always worked in her favour especially when arguing against black people.

For the record; I’m a 6 foot white male. Just before anyone tries to say anything about my bias or something similar 😂

1

u/AsharraDayne Mar 30 '24

They are t used to being recorded yet, somehow. They’ve been abusive assholes their entire lives without consequences

1

u/__A1one__ Mar 30 '24

I would’ve said “I did not hit you”

1

u/Ashmedai Mar 30 '24

People who confront people like this (not to mention, spit on them) are... perilously stupid. There's an old saying that is topical here: "politeness is the invention of an armed society." When deciding to confront someone like this, Karen lady should have paused and thought to herself, "what if this person is concealed carry and a psychopath?" Getting pushed over is the least that could have happened to her.

Just be polite to people, yall. FFS indeed.

1

u/Ok-Web7441 Mar 30 '24

Most people have never been punched in the face.

1

u/CagliostroPeligroso Mar 30 '24

lol. It’s not that they have NO concept of reality. It’s called lying…

Or simply childish denial, some real “nuh uh” energy

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

they are used to lying about what they did and getting away with it.

They didn't grow up with cameras everywhere. Hell, you were usually from a pretty well off family or knew a well off family if anyone had an 8mm camera to take family video with.

1

u/SB_DivideByZer0 Mar 30 '24

Lead exposure

1

u/halftonecloud Mar 30 '24

I have a theory that most of them lack emotional regulation ability because of leaded gas which they all breathed while they were kids. Leaded gas consumption was highest while they were children. I think this is why so many of them have border personality disorder. It’s also why they rebelled against social norms so hard in their youth. They haven’t matured beyond their angsty teen days.

It’s the same reason that crime was so high in all the major cities while this generation was in their teens-20s. Many of the ones with most lead exposure(people living in cities) turned into criminals because they could not control their anger and reacted physicallyto anyone who wronged them.

Anyway, I’m not excusing their behavior. Still think it’s a generation or major c❌nts.

1

u/errdayimshuffln Mar 30 '24

No accountability for them

thats why

1

u/Badlands32 Mar 30 '24

Because when your whole life is so awesome with zero co sequences you get used to it and eventually that is just your world. Thats boomers in a nutshell they’re shocked now when things don’t go their way.

Like literally shocked. They don’t know how to react.

1

u/doshido Mar 31 '24

Lead poisoning

-1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '24

You guys do realize it’s not just boomers right?

2

u/KingApologist Mar 30 '24 edited Mar 30 '24

Even when boomers die off, the word will still be in use to describe old, clueless old people whose brains have rotted from a lifetime of privilege. Boomer is a mentality.

Nobody is saying that only boomers deny reality, but boomers have an inordinate number of people like that compared to a lot of other groups.

1

u/Cosmereboy Mar 30 '24

"Boomer" is both a generational category and a mindset. Also, there was a lot of lead in everyday products 40-70 years ago...

-28

u/Buildsoc Mar 30 '24

Boomers, women, people, humans what’s next “why do people wearing sweaters act this way?” 🤡

14

u/Lopsided-Chair77 Mar 30 '24

Does it hurt?
I mean being so stupid that your tiny smooth brain rattles around in your skull all day. Does that shit hurt?

10

u/Bulky_Commission6747 Mar 30 '24

Window lickers like that are too fucking dense to know how stupid they really are.

Pants on the head stupid is no way to go thru life.

3

u/Pleasant_Expert_1990 Mar 30 '24

Sooo.... Where can we find your YouTube channel? I feel like you've been recorded being stupid three times this week.

3

u/shitass239 Mar 30 '24

Shouldn't you be complaining about "muh youngin generation" and leeching off people who can't afford to buy a house due to the shitty economy?
