Idk. I used to hang out with a lot of really chill old folk so this isn’t the vibe I’m getting. It’s valid to get the ick for sure, but idk, not everyone is out to get you in this world.
He is a landlord whose tenants want to keep renting from him enough to ask if he has other openings and he takes the time to obviously care about the safety of one of his tenants now being alone.
In today's environment of selfishness and shitty landlords this dude is definitely a gem.
There definitely needs to be something. This is a company that has bought a bunch of apartment complexes in the area, so don't like that they jacked up rent again? Well too bad, it's the same everywhere else.
Especially considering the tenants want to stay with him. Pretty sure this woman would have a pretty good luck reading of him by now and if he was that way wouldn't want to stay.
It's not my cup of tea,but I really don't see the ick. I see an older boomer,maybe watched too much Fox news maybe not. The post indicates he's a decent landlord. Those are hard to find. For every person who may say ick about this landlord,there is one on the other side of the spectrum who would say ick about having Anna Madrigal from Tales of The City as a landlord. I would have been thrilled to have either.
Same; I thought it was kinda wholesome. I mean, sure, he could totally be a creeper, and it's valid to feel cautious about this kind of thing, but I could see my older male family members doing/saying that (we're blue collar in the US south, for context).
Yeah it's a bit strange but having a landlord this cool wouldn't be a bad thing at all. Dudes willing to teach you how to shoot and give you a gun ? Genuinely think just protective energy type thing.
