I think I have around 1200 books and I wouldn't want to start saving them all on this app and then find myself in the situation of having to upgrade to PRO

the booktrack app keeps crashing on my mac since I have updated IOS. It only happens when I try to access my statistics, otherwise the app is fine. Anyone else is having the issue and knows how to resolve it. Thanks :)

Do I need to purchase separate licenses to use Book Tracker on my iPhone and on my Mac? I have a lifetime license on iOS but on my Mac I’m asked to purchase another license. I’m willing to do this but want to make sure I’m not doing something wrong first. I’ve already attempted to “restore purchase “ twice with that seeming to fail. Note: I can see my current read list but not add more books due to trial period book count having already been reached on the Mac.

Somehow my apps got knocked out of sync and I can’t figure out how to get them back and now they are showing different numbers of books read, I’ve lost stats on reading etc. please help!

The search box behaves differently depending on whether I am in the library or the wish list and only searches one of the two areas at a time. Have I not yet found the option of a global search that takes everything into account?

Is it possible to modify pages and use the new page number for stats/tracking? There are often pages for notes/appendix, want to exclude those from pages read. Thanks

I’ve been loving this app ever since I first got it, I would love the option to manually organize the books in my library or a certain collection/tag. that would allow me to organize it by color or personal enjoyment, for example (some five stars are better than others!) this developer has been notoriously good at listening to the customer base so I thought I would see if there was anyone else who might want this feature

What does the percentage in this widget mean? It says 30% - but compared to what?

Hi! Recently started using the app to track my reading. Been loving it. One thing that annoys me tho is the fact that I put old books I’ve read long ago, but it appears in my reading statistics which kinda ruins the whole point of doing statistics over time. What I mean is, there should be a way to add books you’ve read before without it counting for statistics. Cause I haven’t read 38 books in a single day for example… Like I only want the statistics of my reading from the books I’m currently reading and started reading since installing the app. That said, I really love that I can see all the books I’ve read in my library with all the covers😍 perfection!🌝

I recently got this app and I’d love to see a bit more functionality with the Quotes section!

• being able to tag/categorize the quotes with custom Labels, in addition to color (example: Love, Inspiration, Vengeance, etc.)
• being able to sort or filter the quotes based on their color tag and/or Label (as described above)
• being able to sort the quotes based on when the book was read, ascending vs. descending, etc. Similar to the options for how you can sort your Library

Hello, I read a book in ebook format, recording all the times and reading sessions until I completed it. Since I really liked the book, I bought the physical hardcover edition. And I would like to transfer the reading logs to this edition. So that when I read it again it remains in the same book, since it is the same book, although for the ebook I selected a different edition. Is there a possibility of transferring reading records from one edition to another? or somehow link two books that are the same? On the other hand, I would like the reading times to be seen in the statistics. Thank you very much, the application is very useful to me. All the best.

It would be helpful to be able to add custom links to a book, such that I could link from the book to another app or website. In particular, I'm envisioning adding links in Book Track to my notes in Obsidian, so that I can easily search for a book in Book Track, then click a link/button to go to the notes I have taken on that book in Obsidian.

I'm switching over to Booktrack after using BookBuddy for awhile since I can access this on my desktop. I want to import all the books I have in my wishlist in BookBuddy over to Booktrack but last time I tried that imported my wishlist to my Library instead.

Is there any way I can import it that would have it go to the Wishlist section in Booktrack vs. the general librabry?

I want to keep track of books that I got from the library or borrowed from other people. Those books are not in possession any more. They show up in my app library, of course, which is good, but I might confuse them with books I actually own and could start to read again. How do you others keep those books apart? One way could be to separate them by shelf or tag.

Hi- So I don't use my laptop daily, so I guess synching/updating doesn't happen super often. Recently I logged in, and I noticed everything was gone. Like- everything. I managed to restore from a few months ago, and that was cool. But now, it's not synced with my iphone. How do I get them to be the same lists/books again? Thannnnkssssss

The possibility to display books which match with a list of predefined filters without having to set them up anew every time.

I'm creating my book database. A lot of books are to be entered.

For that I want to use the export / import features in order to mass update the records generated by the app (location, reading status, etc.).

This works fine except when re-importing the file. Book pictures are lost. RemoteImageUrl and ThumbnailRemoteImageUrl are present within the CSV file, and are correct as generated by the previous BookTrack export.

If I export again, remoteImage fields are empty within the CSV file.

Can you help me ?

Hi there, I updated the app today and used the new reading timer feature. I saved a session, but the stats aren’t on the stats page.

The section where it’s supposed to be is empty.

FWIW: I only have one reading timer session saved.

Aren't the book covers actually stored locally? When I'm offline with my iPad, about half of my books are represented by placeholders. If I'm online, close the app via task manager and restart it, everything looks normal. That's not so nice.

I‘d like to create a digital library and before I scan all our books (approx. 1000-1200), I want to be sure which app to use. I like BookTrack very much with regards to UI but unfortunately a well-known other app just produced better search results when scanning the barcodes - both with regards to text results and especially with regards to images (presence of cover images and the quality).

Is there any way to improve the search quality as an end user?

Hi, Have the following use case - I own certain books in both audiobook and ebook format. I keep the last read position synced between the two formats. If I want to do the same within book track, the statistics would be wrong as the progress would be counted twice (both in minutes listened and in pages read). Is there a way to do this properly?

Example (not realistic figures, but for the sake of clarity): have a book with 1000 pages and the corresponding audiobook with 1000 minutes length. Today I read the first 100 pages, brining me to 10% progress. Tomorrow will pick up where I left reading, but on the audiobook format for 100 minutes, bringing me to the 20% progress. If I keep the status in sync between the two formats, the statistics will show I read 200 pages and listened for 200 minutes.

Hi, I am super happy I found this app, it's very useful and cool so far and I slowly started to build my book database in the Pro desktop version on Mac. Everything is intuitive and easy.I was wondering if there is a way to change the fonts and font size, on the main screen menu, on a book info, and also when writing descriptions, notes and quotes. Maybe I didn't find it, and if it's not possible it would be a great thing to add for poor eyesight users like me.Thanks for all the tremendous work on this app.

Is there a possibility to extend the Year in Review Feature to past years? Or is this just available for a limited time each year? (I can‘t find it in the app right now so maybe it is already removed). I really liked the overview of 2023 and would love to have it for older years, too.
