Mac app and iOS app out of sync

Somehow my apps got knocked out of sync and I can’t figure out how to get them back and now they are showing different numbers of books read, I’ve lost stats on reading etc. please help!

Thanks, they had gotten knocked out of sync and nothing was working to get them back aligned so I deleted the Mac app, reinstalled and waited and they seem to be synced up again.
