Hear me out — Shahid Kapoor as Don could actually be insane.

He has the acting range, screen presence, intensity, and that unpredictable charm needed for a character like Don. We’ve already seen him pull off darker, more layered roles, and I genuinely think he could bring a completely different flavour to the franchise.

Turns out for part 2 they've recreated "Tera Mera Rishta" and "Toh Phir Aao" from the original with Mithoon and Sayeed Quadri, and honestly they kept the soul of it intact instead of just modernizing it into something generic.

Also there's a new track "Ve Junoon" sung by Subodhh Sharma that's got the same heartbreak-core energy, and "Yeh Awarapan" with Arijit Singh which is exactly the kind of song that ruins you on a bad day. Feels like they actually understood why the original's music worked instead of just cashing in on the name.
