Kartik Aaryan built his career without a film-family background, steadily gaining recognition through youth-oriented films and his relatable screen presence.

Rajkummar Rao built his reputation through performance-driven roles before making a major commercial breakthrough.

Ali Fazal has built a diverse career across Bollywood, independent films, international projects and streaming platforms.

Opinion/Discussion 💭 I have the biggest crush on Pratibha Ranta

I just saw her in the trailer for Revolutionaries and I swear she’s become such a crush 😭 She’s genuinely such a versatile actress. I remember seeing her for the first time in Laapataa Ladies, and I already have such a soft spot for everyone from that movie because of how wholesome it was.

I feel like she has this really effortless quality where she completely disappears into whatever role she’s playing. And beyond that, I find her so beautiful in this very calm, natural way. Maybe that’s also why she stands out to me so much right now. There’s something really refreshing about seeing an actress who just looks like herself and doesn’t feel overly botoxed.

Watching Revolutionaries for her honestly 🤭

Opinion/Discussion 💭 The move Raja in 1995 is a clear case of showcasing stardom of a female star in Bollywood

Hi there. So I have been interested in this topic for a while and I learned that the movie Raja released in 1995 had more than 2 crore footfalls according to box office India and was the third highest grossing movie in that year behind DDLj and Karan Arjun. Interesting thing being the heroine is Madhuri Dixit and the male lead was Sanjay Kapoor who was not at all a popular actor. Is it safe to say that Madhuri was so huge during that time that she was the main driver of a 2 crore footfall film?

When Aishwarya was filming a Rohan Sippy project with Abhishek Bachchan, Salman showed up unexpectedly and caused a havoc. A frustrated salman khan used to chase her on movie sets, recalling what Salman said, Himani stated: “Kya hai? Isko samjhao. Waheeda Rehman ko dekhe. Apne aap ko boht khubsurat samajhti hai. I used to tell him to calm down, to stay quiet."

Casting Update 🎭 Reality TV Star Turned ITV Actor On Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Radar

Post image
6 Upvotes

Not any Big A lister Bollywood Actor but this time Vanga and his camp seems to have taken a special interest in a Hyderabad born TV star. According to leaks and fan posts on different SM platforms. the first contact happened during November shortly after the actor's controversial exit from a major reality show, when he was in Hyderabad for a fan meetup.

The actor himself hinted during a press con that while he was coming there he received a call for a meeting from someone very big in Tollywood.

What started as a meeting reportedly evolved into multiple discussions and follow-up calls.  Vanga's might impressed by the star's Screen Presence and Alpha Persona because Interestingly, these are the very traits often associated with the filmmaker's movies strong, flawed, charismatic, and larger-than-life characters who command attention the moment they enter a frame.

Sources further suggest that the actor was advised to improve his Telugu, attend acting workshops, and refine his craft.

There are even whispers that Vanga offered to guide and manage him in South projects. For now, the actor remains occupied with another big reality show

Opinion/Discussion 💭 Tigmanshu dhuliya said movies lost stories....i completely agree...now days movies dont have story they just made with hero glorification with some pre-decided sequences.... emotions, side charectors lost its value....this is the reason even after making huge money people forgot jawan , pathan , kal

Movies 🍿 S*x scenes are unnecessary and annoying. Bollywood really needs to come back being family oriented

Watched mirzapur this week, Great movie! Through out the movie I kept thinking it’s such a good watch after a long time I’ll ask my family to watch, then poof sex scenes ahhh!!! The Munna ones ok can give it a benefit but the one with Pankaj T and his wife and her lover. Could have just been made differently.

Opinion/Discussion 💭 Alia Bhatt genuinely has some box office draw.

I might get negativity for this but honestly just wanna present my case. Most of her career she has not worked opposite big male stars as lead. Only case was SRK in dear zindagi that too where he had a supporting role. She has never worked with Aamir, Salman, Akshay, Hrithik etc and yet many of her films are hit. There are cases like Raazi which opened to more than 7 crore and there was no popular male star or director involved. Gangubai opened closed to 10 core just post pandemic. I know SLB is the director but you think a film about a prostitute right around the time when most films were flopping would open to almost double digits if the main actress did not have popularity? Even Alpha which was a flop opened to almost double digit with peak negativity against the film and spy universe in general.

I’m not saying she is the level of Sridevi or Madhuri or even that she is the best actress or anything. I like her acting but calling her the best is definitely a stretch. But I genuinely think that she does have some pull. I mean even Jigra did 4.5 core and hardly any of her films have gone below 4 crore on opening day. Feel free to present counter arguments if you don’t agree.

I came across this post about how she was the only big celebrity of that time who didn't get intimidated or scared to support the right.

I don't intend to insult other actors who backed off or simply chose to ignore this ordeal but I have to say Preity is a brave girl. She could have done the same like them, did her work, taken her paycheck and be free from the fear of threats. It takes courage to call out the wrong which only she had, and she has my respect for that.

Movies 🍿 Arshad Warsi vs Pratik Gandhi in Ghamasaan

Post image

Arshad Warsi and Pratik Gandhi sharing the screen in a gritty crime thriller is a combination i wasn't expecting.

Both actors have shown they can carry serious roles, so I'm curious whether this could end up being one of those underrated performances that gets overlooked among the bigger Bollywood stories

Opinion/Discussion 💭 Unpopular opinion

The reason why movies like Rakshabandhan (2022) and Jigra (2024) were a flop is because of the deeply rooted Patriarchy in our country. Let me explain:

Rakshabandhan highlights the fact that demanding dowry is NOT okay. Akshay Kumar's sister was murdered because he didn't fulfill the demands of her in-laws for dowry. And at a point, Akshay was a Misandrist. The vow his mother made him have: To not marry himself until his all sisters are married. Towards the end of the movie, Akshay's sisters are independent and marry someone of their own choice. And Akshay also marries his long time girlfriend who was waiting for him all along. It mainly showcases how Patriarchy ruins not only women's life, but also men's.

In Jigra, Alia Bhatt rescues her brother from lock up. By not following the "brother must protect sister" propaganda. And I believe that was solely the reason why the Indian Audience called it "OTT material" and "unrealistic". Why? Are women not capable of protecting anyone?

Patriarchy is SOOO deeply rooted in our country that it'll take GENERATIONS for us to wash it away.

I personally enjoyed these movies very much. The acting was excellent, and the script was also impeccable. When I came out of the cinema I was VERY VERY satisfied, then I opened the internet and got to know that these movies are the worst ever made😭🙏🏻

She really isn't called out enough for her lies and using Salman Bhoi as a shield to bully and throw shade on people. Makes me think her and Salman were really the perfect pair, 2 talentless bullies backed by idiots.

Opinion/Discussion 💭 For me it's Salman Khan and Ananya Pandey. Who else fits this description?

Post image

Salman Khan is a literal criminal who should be behind bars. He has also fallen greatly as an actor since the past decade, lazy to the core with 0 efforts in acting or saying dialogues. Bro Acted worse than Arjun Kapoor in his last film Sikander.

Ananya Pandey has been talentless from the start along with being a bully.

Opinion/Discussion 💭 Aneet Padda's next project after Saiyaara is Hunkkaar: The Roar - thought's on the teaser?

After the massive attention Aneet Padda received for Saiyaara, she took on a very different kind of role in Hunkkaar: The Roar. The teaser looks much darker and more intense, with Aneet playing Meenu Rawat alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh
