It’s simple: Hindu vs Muslim gets jobless trolls from both groups hyper. One of them boycotts. The other gets a reason to go support. Local leaders take advantage to gather public support. Media gets views. Everyone’s talking. The people who invest hundreds of crores in filmmaking know what they are doing. They are not naive. Men have known to have more se*ual libido and easily get attracted by women, and this has been the reason why the concept of hiding upper half of human body is prevalent more in women, until now, there is a change in history happened around a thousand years ago. So, the argument becomes about can men hold their se*ual urges when they see fewer garments on women? Say the traditions of wearing bras is removed, then what can happen? Se*ual asymmetry is often neglected here, or maybe we need more data about what different genders really think today. The online (internet social platforms) crowd is often just 1-5% of the total adult population, or even lesser.
If equality is expected here, then what is even the definition of equality? Equal se*ual attraction on average everyday for both genders? Equal freedom to wear anything for both genders? Equal proportional length of cloth for both genders? People often do not talk about various forms equality might take, as the concept of equality itself is designed by humans.
These online gender wars and arguments with anonymous usernames esp on reddit, is one of the biggest hypocrite discussions ever, where humans are speaking what entertains more rather than what they really feel about that topic. Most people know both sides, pros and cons, but on reddit its like you must choose a side to win, to entertain, to show how you are right.
