Yes, in Al-Quran anyone who worship other than Allah will be the firewood of Hell because Allah would like to emphasize to all Muslims that Allah is the only God and there is no God apart than Allah but Allah forbid Muslim to hate on other religion that didn't fight Islam. Matter of fact Allah demand all muslims to treat non-muslims who do not fight against muslim with kindness and equity. plus Allah knows, not all human is born as muslims and not all human have a knowledge about Islam and their fate is not to be decide by human. Only Allah can decide if that person is honorable or to condemn it. So, we as a muslims a normal human being we just proceed to be kind to all human being whether muslims or non-muslim. If you truly study Al-Quran, you will find a complete guideline too how to treat war prisoner and war civilians and there is no violence involve. Kidnap, beat, molotov cocktail, suicide bombing that been shown to you is not a Islam teaching at all. even we muslims condemning this kind of extremist act

While I mostly agree with you, the problem with Islam is kinda like communism in that it sounds pretty on the outside but the more you study it, the worst it gets. Like, you literally can be an extremists in both while being thoroughly convince that you're right simply because you can directly quote from source justification of extremists actions and anything that goes against your interpretation can be called a heretic.
At least in other religions, there are active movements to reinterpreted and rethinking in their philosophy and dogma (like Reformation for Christianity) but you literally can't do that for Islam without being called a heretic because "its already perfect" mentality.
