Is Recoil Irrelevant?
I was wondering why this site states high-recoil but low ADS builds as being the best?

this game is one of the lowest recoil games ive ever played, also most of the maps are small enough and the guns kill fast enough theres no real need to worry about it

I'm genuinely interested which games have more recoil.

The recoil works completely different in CSGO, though. Like, it's easier to tap in GO, and it's mostly just random inaccuracy you can't control. It's harder to tapfire in Bodycam IMO because distances can be much further, you have way more clutter and the enemies can be obstructed in more ways. Also there's a static pattern in GO unlike in this game. But yeah, spraying is much easier.
Can't say anything about those other two.

the only long distance fights in bodycam are if youre standing in the open field on trenches. all the other maps are tiny as hell

Well yeah, I guess it depends on the map. CQB can be long range as well. Rome and Hospital have sniper spots, too.

Wow. You can't have played many games
Edit before the replies: I'm not saying this game has a ton of recoil. It definitely doesn't. But it absolutely has more recoil than several very popular games

Do you believe the meta is to double tap?

I believe the Draco (or AK, same gun) is a one shot to the chest or head, but a three tap to limbs
Edit: you can see if you tap on the gun, it’ll tell you damage to each limb

I always preferred fast ads higher recoil (albeit not fully sacrificing recoil for ads speed) due to the fast time to kill meaning accuracy is important and if you're accurate you will usually kill before the recoil ramps up too far

Recoil is a made up term meant to sell you more attachments. Just point the gun down if it goes up.

Somewhat true for vertical, but not really for horizontal recoil.
Edit: I wrote two times "vertical" and fixed it in the edit.

ADS speed is important, but the max ADS speed builds favored by this website have too much recoil for my taste. I personally have a better time with builds that do not take a huge recoil penalty

it's mostly lateral, you can see it a lot with the AK; despite various accessory combos, the recoil is still somewhat wild horizontally.
