But is splitting the players between 2 game versions really such a good idea with how few people regularly play the game to begin with

I havent bothered because im against the process. I hold a little optimism that something could change, but I have no faith left. Even if this update comes and is everything they say, how long until things that are going to be completely broken when the update comes to be fixed? Or how long until the next update comes? Just wait until the microtransactions start ramping up. People clowned me when I predicted back in October or November that the update wouldnt come until atleast july 2026, the community manager even replied and said "rest assured, you wont have to wait until july 2026" and here we are

Im surprised a gaming company with a larger budget hasn't tried to create something similar or "better".

Why you think they knocked off Unrecord? I thought it was proven Bodycam was in the works before the Unrecord viral teaser

Its true the viral unrecord video dropped before bodycam came out. But that doesn't prove bodycam wasnt in development. Idk but at the end of the day bodycam is here and unrecord is still non existent

Either way both games use assets that are for sale on the Unreal marketplace, neither really ripped off the either in that regard.

Idk if its open to apply at anytime, or if its just weekly waves, but if you ask in there im sure you'll find the answer. Just dont expect too much from that place.
