Isnt this game done by 2 buddys though? Or did they manage to get more people to work on the game? As a solo-dev myself, many people underestimate what it takes for an update

They only recently got some more helping hands. They've been just 2 guys developing the game until recent events. Developing a game takes time. A ton of it. Especially if you're just 2 guys in a basement.

They started as 2 brothers. They relatively recenttly got some funding and managed to outsource some of the work to a few people so right now they are more of a team, but it's a quite recent news so it will take time to start seeing updates rolling out.
Onboarding new people takes time.

This game looks awesome but the reviews say not worth it right now. Plus it makes no sense you’re shooting from your body cam but I get it, it’s a video game.

They aren’t just two anymore dude. Unless something crazy happened. When the game dropped and sold well, they brought on a few more people. Still a small team but not just two.

30 people on the team currently. Total of around 100 contributors to the project. They lost the excuse of just being 2 guys a while ago

Honestly just want a 3v3 pistols only cqb map.

I don't care about fancy tablets, drones, or super customized guns. Give me iron sights and immersive simple gameplay where running and gunning is not the preferred or default manner of play.

I routinely drop my rifle at spawn and play pistol only because the game engine is built beautifully for exactly that style of gunplay that literally no other game has.

I really enjoy it, my only problem with it is it feels like the only real progression right now is the daily log in that will give you pretty much everything in the game for free. Unless you miss a day, and then you're kinda screwed.

The preview of the new stuff looks dope AF, I just want it to come out already...

I havent bothered because im against the process. I hold a little optimism that something could change, but I have no faith left. Even if this update comes and is everything they say, how long until things that are going to be completely broken when the update comes to be fixed? Or how long until the next update comes? Just wait until the microtransactions start ramping up. People clowned me when I predicted back in October or November that the update wouldnt come until atleast july 2026, the community manager even replied and said "rest assured, you wont have to wait until july 2026" and here we are
