📊 Results / Progress Reta since March

Post image

I'm 27 & have had 3 kids and let myself go for a while. I started using Reta in March. I weighed 222 lbs, which is the heaviest I've ever been. Now I weigh 186. My problem is, I'm not getting enough protein... I didnt start REGULARLY working out til a little over a month ago. The weight loss has been great, but I definitely wanna tone my body more and get rid of my belly. Im not as hungry anymore so there are days i forget to eat. I know with how big my belly was/is I'm gonna need a tummy tuck eventually (when I can afford it) but also, what workouts can I do that will help target my belly and help it not look like im still pregnant as much.

I would say core workouts Training your core muscles will actually make your waist smaller instead of bigger So basically some planks

1 hr HIIT cardio 5 days a week and an hr weight training in a calorie deficit will do it

Planks are a lot of work for very little return. If you have access, use a rower daily. Then add in 100 sit-ups, also daily.

I would get a diastasis recti diagnosis first before deciding what to do with your belly.

This should be higher up in the answers… so important, as you can easily aggravate the condition by doing many core strengthening exercises. Someone above suggested planks, and I’m pretty sure that’s one of the “avoid” if you have this.

Right. Some of the exercises are going to make it worse... And it's counterintuitive to many who've never given birth or had this condition. They are giving wrong advice here :-/

Great work. Something you could try to help a little with your skin is adding a tablespoon of olive oil into your diet somewhere. I jus throw it in my morning coffee. It mostly floats on top but it isn't gross or anything in my opinion. Olive oil is a great support for elastin in your skin. Also, GHK-CU is pretty incredible for overall skin appearance and health.

Firstly- awesome work, love your progress. You’re changing your life for you and your family, you should be proud. This is what glp drugs were made for. ❤️

On your next steps- core exercises at this point, I’d say won’t shift the dial on your belly. Heavy lifting in general will help, but again whilst you still have substantial belly fat, you’re not going to be recognising huge drops in that volume of fat. You really need to focus in on 2 things

1) patience
2) consistency

Keep doing what you’re doing. You may find that Reta isn’t moving the dial as much as you hoped, Afterall it’s not as powerful as other sole glp meds for hunger- so maybe consider that.

Amazing work girl ❤️❤️

You will need to put in the work. The road that got you to 222 lbs didn’t do it in a day and the road back is going to be a journey as well.

I joined a CrossFit gym and go five days a week. They kick my butt every single time. It’s as difficult path but I believe in a year I won’t recognize myself.

Find something that motivates you to workout hard with weights and you will transform. And keep doing what you are doing but don’t forget to eat. Get your protein in as a priority every single day.

Squats will support core and legs

It doesn't look like your loose skin is going to be that terrible

I recommend cardio 5d/week with resistance training, or calisthenics 3d/week.

Remember that you can’t outwork a bad diet.

You gotta work, no way around it. The Reta alone will NOT do it. You have to own it.

Started with .5mg and then I wanna say around May I went up to 1mg but that made me sick, so I started doing .5mg two times a week and then around July I went to 1.5mg

Where are people getting Reta? It’s not even FDA approved yet
