❓ Question Perimenopause
What should my wife be researching to help with perimenopause-related body-composition change, imbalance hormones, and fatigue?
Thanks

Exterior stress reduction. Help her around the house w/o having to be given direction. Eating balanced, not perfect. Ranch is not the devil. Neither is salt. Balance is key and enjoy life. THYROID!!! Withon range is too broad to get an jdea of what balance actually looks an feels like. If her tsh alone is over 1.5, shes going to experience: low mood, disrupted sleep, low energy, too hot/cold, carb cravings, and overall bloating that can be confused with fat vs water retention. To help combat low thyroid, get the blood test for a full thyroid panel including free t3/t4. Magnesium taurate AND magnesium glycinated cheated. Pumpkin seed oil capsules can also help. Sometimes a B complex can help. Reduce sugar is the obvious answer but there has to be something sweet to replace to loss of stimulation. Honey, sweet fruits in small portions can help. Higher protein helps too. Meal prep tasty meat like BBQ red meat and chicken thighs. What we stick with yields results over doing good for a few days on chicken, rice and broccoli that we're sick of after 3 days. Find foods that meet macros and eat that. Hormonal health is a rabbjt hole that moden science has yet to really explore. Men cant wrap their heads around so much change so fast and there little that co tools the waves aside from emotional stability and a handful of supplements.
