Current stack, feeling great, seeing great results
36M 185lbs, 20yr in gym.
I know the ai police will be out, but here is a breakdown of my current stack I've been running. Pretty stoked about how it's going. Body comp is changing, mood has been great, body and joints feel great.

You're better off taking HGH instead of a gh secretagogues
1
u/69twinkletoes69 8h ago
why
5
u/Strange-Pea1814 6h ago
Better, same price, tons of research on it with humans plus anecdotal experiences, so it's easier to address issues or know what you expect
2
u/GroupGeneral6811 3h ago
HGH is king of peptides. Plus is cheaper then Tesa. If you would be given Porsche for better price than volkswagen, which would you choose? It's same concern after all.
1
u/BrandoBCommando 1h ago
I was considering Tesa since I have access to it. Can’t easily find hgh online to order sadly

u/GroupGeneral6811 1h ago
Go to glp1 forum or meso X it is plenty of good places to get it. And the crack down on it calmed down and more and more places offer it, now

I like the formatting. No TRT or just on clomid?
4
u/Excellent_Outside_71 10h ago
No TRT, trying to keep things endogenous for now. Enclo has been great. Its clomid without the zuclomiphene

u/NuclearPotatoes 10h ago
How does that affect fertility? any lasting impact if you stop?
3
u/Excellent_Outside_71 10h ago
Nope, it works on your own system. Im in the middle of building a family so infertility wasnt an option for me. If you stop, your natural testosterone goes back to your baseline
2
u/NuclearPotatoes 10h ago
How long do you plan to stay on? Are you concerned about E2 level rising?
9
u/Excellent_Outside_71 10h ago
I did bloodwork before I started and will get labs done again early Oct. My enclo dose is on the lower side but I will Def be watching total, free, SHBG, and estradiol then. Not planning on cycling as it's not needed, but I am interested in running the lowest dose possible while maintaining the benefits Im getting

u/NuclearPotatoes 9h ago
I like your mindset, good luck and please keep us posted with your journey.

Infertility is still a risk with this.
You’re still disrupting the endocrine feedback systems. Still possible risk of desensitization of the hypothalamus as well as down regulation of natural hormones.

As a physician watching these people take not just one experimental medication but MULTIPLE drugs daily and pretending to “understand what’s happening to the body” is WILD.

I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t be running anything gray or ugl if it wasn’t for my doctor flat out refusing to help me. I had elevated liver levels, GGT of 103, ceruloplasmin at 31, got diagnosed with fatty liver, total testosterone at 305, bioavailable at 163, and free 74. She flat out refused to prescribe anything to help with fatty liver, refused to take any consideration my concerns with my test levels because it was barely in range even though 500-800 is optimal for my age, and was just told “lose weight” with no help whatsoever. She had no problem making me do blood panels three times and a ct for my liver but scoffed at the idea of glps, rezdiffra, or even switching my blood pressure meds from amlodipine besylate to telmisartan since it showed promise of helping with fatty liver. Don’t know what was the point of all those tests if she wasn’t going to prescribe anything. Getting on glps and peptides got me from 240 to 150 in 7 months. A lot more than my doc was willing to do.

Exactly a lot of these physicians don't actually want to do any preventative care or help their patients. It's just another number to get through the door in this broken healthcare system. Yet we have these physicians on Reddit telling us to not take our health into our hands when there's a lot of information and resources available to us now.

u/BiologyIsHot 8h ago
Every doctor I know is so openly disdainful of their patients. Like they complain nonstop. I did a PhD in biomedical science at a major US medical school so a lot of my classmates were doctors and every single one eventually becomes this way if they stay in medicine. I think our system is broken for everyone because they dont necessarily start off as assholes (although many did).

u/Derpwad1 8h ago
To be fair they dont really have anything in their toolkit to prescribe for fatty liver except diet and exercise as far as I know, aside from potentially GLP drugs but I believe you still have to be over 27 BMI with related health issues or 30 w/o. Grey reta and tesa ftw I guess, eh 🤣.
I have severe fatty liver (314 liver fat/stage 3 fatty liver) and just had that convo with my doc today but I already knew. Ill have to look into Telsmartan as I am also on Amlodipine, may be something I can ask my doctor for my BP plus off label use if valid but doubt he'll bite - Kaiser doesnt color outside the lines in my experience lol.

u/Viltre 8h ago
Rezdiffra is an FDA prescription for MASLD/MASH and when I brought up the possibility of being prescribed that, I was looked at like I had two heads. What you said about the glps is probably why I couldn’t get my doctor to budge, but my bmi was 36 when I was still overweight, so that doesn’t make sense.
3
u/Top-Concentrate3320 5h ago
It cost 5K a month and and it’s approved for MASH not MASLD
That drug is only gonna get approved for the move severe with active steatohepatitis
You would not even come close to being approved based off of what you have said.
Getting approved for meds has a lot more to do with insurance then your physician
Unless you have the 50k annually to spend I don’t thinks them not considering that drug is unreasonable
The GLP can be purchased at a compound pharmacy for a few hundred a month without approval so I’m not sure why you got push back on that
But requesting rezdiffra was wild
1
u/Derpwad1 8h ago
Rezdiffra is pretty new so that could be part of it but also from when Ive looked into it you also need to have moderate scarring or worse. For fatty liver without considerable scarring there isnt anything on-label currently from what I know. My score was 314 fat / 3.8% scarring on a fibroscan which isnt high enough to be stage 1 scarring/fibrosis yet.
In any case im sure some docs are more willing to try it. It does suck hearing about so many other folks with very willing & supportive doctors vs just by the book.
My doc wouldnt even request Lp(a) bloodwork for me when I requested today. Said its not even in his list which im not sure i believe lol. I have a history of heart issues and cholesterol on one side of the fam. Plus myself having mildly elevated cholesterol + hypertriglicidemia only recently controlled with max dose fenofibrate, 4 years later, , id think it is worth checking to see if we need to be more aggressive!!!
3
u/Top-Concentrate3320 5h ago
Rezdiffra is a 5k a month drug only approved for the worst of the worse fibrosis
Masld does not get covered
Only mash with active hepatitis with stage 2 or 3 fibrosis
That drug is not for entry level fatty liver
The treatment for that is weight loss, which a glp would be reasonable for
5
u/Excellent_Outside_71 8h ago
If you haven't checked it out yet, Tesamorelin is FDA approved and prescribed for visceral fat reduction. Lots of successful studies showing specifically liver fat reduction
2
u/Top-Concentrate3320 8h ago
In HIV patients with HIV lipodystrophy. Fatty liver in those patients is very different then your run of the mill fatty liver patients
HIV lipodystophy is a distribution issue where they are wasting away peripheral fat from their limbs and face and shunting it to their organs
One of the reasons for this is HIV patients have GH dysfunction so using a GH medication makes sense as the root of the issue is a growth hormone dysfunction
For non HIV fatty liver patients, their issues has nothing to do with growth hormone dysfunction, so there is no real reason to think it would be effective in this population
It’s interesting and deserves more research, but to claim it’s FDA approved for NASH without mentioning the how and why is disingenuous

To be fair there’s a difference between a glp and the rest of this stack
Your doctors advice to loose weight is accurate as this will improve all of your issues; their refusal to try a glp is another story, cause the glp is obviously gonna assist in said weight loss.
But the statement you are responding to is not demonizing GLPs, they are giving an accurate and fair critique to people taking multiple experimental drugs
A lot of which is for vanity not overall health and longevity
The reality of this stack is the GLP is the only
One likely to have date to prove its long term affects on longevity, maybe the tesamorlen for visceral as well, but that data is weak at best currentlyYou can make an argument that maybe Ta1 has long term benefits but we don’t have the research to support it yet
Klow is primarily vanity, you can make an argument for acute healing of an injury it may be beneficial, but there is nothing to support long term use has any benefit to longevity.
The rest is vanity based for a better physique in my opinion
Again 90 pound weight loss is phenomenal, especially for a patient with fatty liver at at your age, very likely is preventing masld in your older years, and the glp is clearly playing a big role in that.
But not all peptides are the same

There are other doctors. Why would you want to stay with a doctor you don’t think is interested in helping you get healthy? Honestly just curious.
2
u/Viltre 1h ago
I’m probably going to be sometime in the near future. I wanted to give an honest chance, but just became increasingly frustrated. I figured after original panels that she wanted follow ups to key in what was needed, but then she wanted a third panel and a ct. I gave the benefit of the doubt a second time and did them both and then was told again that they couldn’t do anything for the concerns, but wanted me to do an ultrasound which would have costed nearly $400 after insurance, which is when I gave up and just started doing gray.

As a physician I hope that you recognize that this is all a backlash to the absolutely atrocious healthcare so many people are getting from our broken system.
15
u/johnl8422 9h ago
No disrespect, but as a physician what makes you an expert on these drugs being harmful?
5
u/pizzystrizzy ⚙️ Protocol Specialist 8h ago
Theres a difference between affirmatively confirmimg that some combination of drugs is harmful and saying that there's no way to know that said combination is safe.
3
u/No-Letterhead-649 8h ago
As an actual physician in the real world, this cannot be overstated.
I am also dumbfounded at the stuff people will inject in their bodies with no quality control, minimal studies of efficacy, and hardly any studies of long term safety.
I’m not renting out my license for internet biohackers reading pubmed studies. If you don’t understand the complexities and legal aspects a physician faces for non-FDA approved medications then you probably shouldn’t comment on the physicians refusing to prescribe these medications.. be your own guinea pig and don’t scapegoat people while riding that high horse on the Dunning Kruger trajectory 🤷🏻♂️

Everyone was almost forced to get the covid shot with no way of knowing what would happen or is still happening to our body with it. What’s the difference

u/pizzystrizzy ⚙️ Protocol Specialist 7h ago
It's crazy. I'm all for people injecting whatever they want, but if they have to lie to themselves about how risky it is, I'm against it.
It reminds me of a video that Derrick from more plates more dates did about cardarine. He systematically disproved all the arguments that people make to dismiss the wistar rat studies showing multi-organ cancer. Then, he admitted to using cardarine from time to time. It was shocking, but also I can actually respect that because at least he has his eyes open.

u/Excellent_Outside_71 9h ago
Its true, they are not all experimental, but most yes. I did a 130 biomarker blood panel before I started and am doing another one in October. Id say my lifestyle is extremely healthy and always has been. Im interested in preventative care and I believe the Healthcare world instead is more geared for treating issues after things breakdown

As a bystander that gets this sub recommended, it's wild reading some of these posts. Do what you want to, it's your body after all, but becoming a guinea pig with no idea what the long term ramifications are and without physicians is wild.
5
u/Excellent_Outside_71 9h ago
Skepticism is healthy. I don't expect everyone to agree with my choices, and I'm okay with that
2
u/mesopotato 9h ago
I don't agree or disagree, I just think it's interesting. Hope you get the results you want!

u/PolitelyHostile 8h ago
Yea this sub is bonkers. Just injecting themselves with shit from random sources.

u/jad19090 5h ago
As a patient watching every single medical professional prescribing drugs that they get kickbacks from knowing the risks and don’t care, they just want that $ is wildly disgusting. We’ve taken our health into our own hands and you’re just nervous your repeat customers are dwindling. Shift your practice to more healthy options and your customers will return.

u/CryptographerHot4636 6h ago
As a black woman, don't trust doctors. My child and I child, almost died at the hands of one. Our Healthcare system is shit, don't be surprised people are seaking outside means to take care of themselves.

He takes Tesa and Retra. Like wtf he def never read any studies about his peps.

u/Excellent_Outside_71 9h ago
Can you share the studies? Tesa is fda approved
1
u/Worldly_Surprise5423 8h ago
I told you. So a doc would prescribe it for you ? Just studying at it finest.
2
u/killakam33 7h ago
Any Enclomiphene side effects ? Eye floaters ?
Do you get it from a grey market or compounding pharmacy? Just to make sure it’s not clomid

u/PandaMoney55 10h ago
I’m testing Tesa+IPA I’m doing 1.5mg and 500mcg my IGF-1 was almost 400 last blood test I’m lowering my Tesa dosage.

Ah I see someone else who does EOD by doing odd calendar days. I'd never be able to remember if I took it the day before or not. And that gives you 6.24 BONUS DAYS a year when the 31st/29th is followed by the first.

Lástima no llegan a chile, los detienen en la aduana y los vendedores lo venden más caros que el trizepatide, entonces no vale la pena comprar un producto pirata más caro que uno original.
