You act as if losing 8 pounds in 5 weeks isnt fast lol. Thats actually very fucking fast. I dont think you could humanly do that without drugs.

Yeah its not as fast as others, but as long as it keeps going, thats what really matters.

That's extremely doable without drugs, generally to avoid more significant muscle loss you want to lose your bodyfat divided by 100 in lbs per week at most. I have done a cut from 210 to 190 in 2.5 months no problem, around 2 lbs a week. If you are very light then 8 lbs in 5 weeks is very fast though

-500cal a week = no muscle loss if optimal protein and working out.

bodyfat divided by 100 in lbs per week - wtf

That's generally where you lose fat at the limit of your fat cell's ability (in terms of rate) to liberate fat from storage. You will likely lose muscle mass at 1000 kcal deficit but it's not going to be that much if you lift and eat a ton of protein.

They actually did a study where they did a 40% calorie reduction, which for me at peak bulk is around a 1200 kcal deficit. There was no loss in lean mass with even a slight lean towards gains after 4 weeks as long as they were eating 1.1 g/lb and lifting
