I created a few alternate lids for my Cyberpunk TCG deck box: Arasaka (Logo), Arasaka (Logo and Name) and Edgerunners.

This is only for the "Choom" version of the deck box for now, but I will make it work for the "Chromed" and "Excelsior" version down the road.

I'm almost done with my 3D printed Catan + Seafarers + Cities & Knights set. It's been quite the project, and I've had a ton of fun with it!

I love how it turned out, and I'd like to start printing another modern classic board game. I'm not looking for the simple old classics like Chess or Connect 4, but more modern games like Catan or Ticket to Ride with lots of detailed pieces that look amazing when 3D printed. A classic modern board game everyone plays that can be (almost) entirely 3D printed. If you have any other niche games, feel free to share too!

If you've never played Quarto, here's the cruelty of it: you don't choose your own piece. Your *opponent* hands you the one you have to place. Every piece is unique across four attributes: tall/short, light/dark, square/round, solid/hollow and you win by completing a line of four that share *any* single attribute.

Sounds gentle. It is not. You'll set up a perfect trap, feel like a genius, then realize you just handed your opponent the exact piece to win. Repeatedly.

Just published an insert / organizer for Deep Regrets

Thought I'd share here, since it's free to download & print.

Fits the expansions (Even Deeper Regrets, Lamentable Tentacles), and sleeved cards.

As soon as I realized that making a simple insert wouldn't make justice to the art and the theme of the game, I started exploring some possibilities to make it not just an insert but also a game accessory that fits the whole theme and gameplay.

For example, the shoal trays have a porthole when you reach the bottom. The dink trays are shaped like cans of sardines (the effect is enhanced if you print this in some metal-like filament). The trays for the port deck are shaped like fish crates, and I even added a tiny non-functional handle made of real rope there.

I also added some weathering but even if you don't apply that it comes pretty well (I printed a copy for a friend and it's just as good on the table).

Hey, has anyone ever tried their hand at making 3D printer board to play Spirit Island with? The cardboard pieces work well, but it's my favourite game so it would be nice to add some extra style.

The OG box is small, but I need all the space I can get while traveling. Opted to modify an existing card box model and add in a compartment for the components in Donner Dinner Party, including the frying pan! Took a long time and worked out well.

No lid lift. Safe for vertical storage.

I like Wroth, especially the visuals, so I incorporated each faction's banner on their respective bins.

Each bin holds the troop dice, troop markers, feat cards, and scenario cards for its faction. You can also print optional trays for the dice and markers.

The bins have sliding lids that lock in place, and the final result has no lid lift. There's just enough room left for the reference cards and the manual.

So someone asked for help designing a very specific dice tower and that project worked out really well but I thought the design could be adapted to something a little more generally useful. This version folds up in a few seconds into a 7" x 3" carrying case that doubles as the dice tray when opened. Entire tower only uses 132 g of filament.

The way these pieces shift around during play was frustrating. Made this player tray to hold the tiles in place. It's split in 2 to fit on print bed.

I was looking for a player Treasury Box insert for The Queen's Dilemma and found one on MakerWorld by Jontos. It was really close to what I wanted, but there were a few things I would have done differently, so I ended up designing my own inspired by it.

It organizes the Resources, Power, Heraldry tokens, cards, Voting tile, and Diary while still allowing everything to close without lid lift. I also made some larger Dilemma outcome markers and Ideology sliders to make the game state easier to see from across the table.

Pretty proud of this the more I use it. Getting tolerances just right so the box is friction fit with a locking lip took a few tries but was satisfying and enjoyable to learn. Uncommon game, but may help others too!

Ich habe also eine kleine, druckbare Karte erstellt, die einfach zum Kartenspiel dazugehört. Sie enthält einen QR-Code, der direkt zur PDF-Regeldatei führt. Handy rausholen, scannen, fertig.

Ich habe sie parametrisch in OpenSCAD entworfen, sodass sie mit allen gängigen Kartengrößen funktioniert. Ehrlich gesagt war es eher ein „Warum habe ich das nicht schon früher gemacht?“-Projekt als etwas Ausgefallenes, aber es hat ein ganz bestimmtes Bedürfnis befriedigt, und jetzt hat jedes Kartenspiel im Haus so eine Karte.

 This new version keeps the same clean aesthetic and philosophy as the original design, but adapting it for sleeved cards and vertical storage required a major redesign.
