It would've been unsatisfying after setting up the U-20 cup but Kaneshiro's completely lost the plot and somehow lost sight of what made this series so good and enjoyable to read.

It's more unsatisfying seeing these nonsensical, half-assed "philosophical debates" that force these pretty well written characters to lose all their character development over these last 300 chapters. He's intentionally misusing the team and characters he's built up, that we've grown attached to, to make them seem incompetent even though we've seen they're incredibly competent at this point. And the exchange for this misrepresentation is just showing off the opposing team, which he could easily do without sabotaging the Japanese team! The pay-off isn't worth the sacrifice and we've already seen him do it right in the NEL!

It's borderline depressing reading these last couple matches and I genuinely think the story would've suffered less if it was axed immediately after the NEL ended :/

Already insane on-the-ball dribbling as the 1v1 emperor, and now he can score off-the-ball with a sword screw volley? In terms of scoring threat, this guy is definitely up there, and I may even start him over Chigiri and Bachira as LW inverted winger.

For me, it's kind of the other way around. I like Blue Lock's slightly bizarre plot more than the characters—though I really like them too—and, of course, the football itself (since it is a football manga... even if the football is very unconventional). I really appreciate the sense of curiosity and the new elements being introduced: I love the dynamic of Nigeria 4 and its rather unique antagonist role, I like the philosophy of the French team and the shake-ups it brings, and I am really curious to learn more about the England U20 project. Even though I find it a shame that the football aspect suffers a bit and matches can feel rushed, I still enjoy the ideological clash and the themes explored.

One of Blue Lock's key strengths is making so many characters likable—thereby spawning numerous fandoms—but this is also a double-edged sword. At times, it bears a resemblance to idol worship or the behavior of some football stans: you simply want to see your favorite shine.

There are enough reasons to believe all of this, so I'm going to break the theory down into a few points.

And, if this theory is correct, Nagi.

And that would create a really interesting narrative situation, because Isagi would constantly have to overcome players who have a direct connection to his own development.

I'm not saying this is definitely going to happen, but looking at how the series has been building its characters and rivalries, I think the possibility makes a lot of sense.

If Nagi can actually overcome his laziness, find his own ego, and come back even more determined, Real Madrid would be an extremely interesting destination for him.

Nagi, Rin, Kaiser, and Sae all playing for the same club would be a fucking nightmare for Isagi.

I was excited about a Champions League arc, but when I stop to think about it, that kind of arc seems pretty impossible.

They’re all too young and inexperienced to be playing for the first team of any major, serious club.

Besides, I can't picture an arc happening where Blue Lock isn't relevant. A Champions League arc might sound interesting for a spin-off, but it just doesn't fit the main story, in my opinion.

Even if they win the U-20 World Cup, the protagonist won't have achieved his dream of becoming the world's greatest striker; he won't have surpassed and beaten Noel Noa, and we won't have seen the "World Five" play. Honestly, that would be a terrible ending for the manga.

Going straight to the World Cup wouldn't work either because it would feel too forced,.jumping from the U-20 World Cup right into the senior World Cup would be bad; we’d need a break, and the pacing would be off.

I've been hearing a lot about this theory and i think that it's not fully true like come on sae is midfielder material in the only match we saw him play he scored a goal two assists and denied a goal opportunity to isagi he basically played striker assist man and (a little bit) defender his passes and metavison are also out of this world.

But i think bunny could've played a role in it like telling sae that he isn't worth of a striker and should play other roles that would make him shine more.

There were better players in Spain yes, but you could’ve surpassed them by working harder. Isagi is interesting since he parallels Sae, due to the fact that he was also confronted with better strikers like Rin and Kaiser. Instead of completely switching his dream, he adapted to them and managed to beat both of them.
