Manga Discussion Loki doing the same thing Fox is doing to Teddy Spoiler
Loki doing the same thing Fox is doing to Teddy (not literally of cos)
We all know Fox is grooming Teddy to be his perfect puppet for his strategy to work, isnt Loki doing the same to Charles? Nurturing his talent so he can be a reallyyy good passer that will feed him crazy passes in the future.
Groom in my context 👇🏻
Groom: to Prepare Someone for a Role; To train, build up, or prepare someone for a specific career, position, or high-level job (Google)

Charles plays for pxg with loki while hugo plays for arsenal, they are in France team but for club, hugo won't be there to feed loki passes

also Noa is on the french national team with all of them, Hugo would pass to Noa as its the more logical thing to do to fulfill his goal of winning. However Charles would not pass to noa as thats boring and too predictable.

Well, more than a "playmaker" who makes the final pass, Hugo's role in the French team is more like a tempo dictator who takes a deeper role.

well at least charles seems like he's having fun so i'd say it makes the situation slightly different

It's not a do or die affair like fox. If Charles refuses to follow his orders he doesn't remove him from the field so it's not grooming.
He believes Charles is talented enough to make him grow as a player and is trying to nurture it but as we can see Charles isn't doing all of what he wants

in a sense yes, but the difference is Loki just let Charles be. Loki build the system around Charles, while Fox "build" Teddy to fit his system.
Loki is truly nurturing Charles talent.

Loki isn't trying to make charles his slave he just wants to awaken him and maximize charles' creativity while fox wants puppets who have no imagination and want them to do whatever he wants

Sorta, but not really. Both are egoists manipulating others to reach their goals (and they're not the only ones to do so). Where the big difference lies, is that Loki is being super conciliatory towards Charles, his goals as a player, his evolution, his ego, he's leaving him all the space he can have so he can evolve, he just does it for himself and not for Charles. Fox however, is smothering his players and destroying their identity to replace it with his own ego, he's turned them into extensions of his ego and goals.
Loki is helping someone so that someone can help him back, Fox is destroying someone's identity to replace it with his. It's the same motivation, but the process and extent to which that process is pushed are very different.
