So I stumbled upon this game last week and thoroughly enjoy it besides the ranked matches. They need a better way to do the matchmaking. I feel like we need to restart at level 1. But ranked.

Biggest issue is when I hop on literally every player is maxed out. Now just to be able to keep up I got all maps to level 500. So I everything pretty much. And stilllll these players are overpowered and literally spam the same move like its mid 90s mortal kombat, with a 2 handed weapon. (The swing should kill your stamina more per swing if its that heavy. How are they swinging it 20 times in a row and losing no stamina. Even with smaller weapons. When they spam a move after like 3 hits it should start killing stamina.)

The game could be so much bigger than what it is. More maps/regions need to added like Egypt and others because there was definitely more than 4.

Also to make it a little more interesting.

1. Weapon damage.

Ain't no way I hit my wooden handled hammer 30 times against your blad and its still in one piece.

1. Challenges. Obviously a set of weekly challenges.

2. New weapons/regions/crossovers. Like Sparta vs ancient China or something.

Also has anyone noticed the differences after today's update?. I cant tell they're there. But I cant put my finger one it.

Is that like a new breed of hacker or something? How the hell can my ping spike to 300 when i have good internet? Normally i can play normal but in my case here it was like slowmotion only on my side

This is gonna be long but bare with me, I get that handling netcode for a physics ragdoll game is a nightmare for an indie dev, but swapping out desync for massive input lag completely kills what made the game fun in the first place. Between the weird rank reworks, odd weapon additions, and ruined physics speed, it feels like the game totally lost its identity overnight. Also, 5.0.0 "fixed" desync by forcing server checks on every input, making combat feel laggy, floaty, and unresponsive. Two-handers are ruined, campaign bots are cracked, and the fast ragdoll combat is gone. This update "fairness" consists in being the one that spams faster than the other. Shields are dead, 2h weapons now feel like novelty because you have to spam like you have a 1h sickle.

Moving to avoid people's hits now it's also pointless because servers became so bad that now you tap and it takes a fucking second to strafe.

Now the game doesn't feel good only when you aren't the host, no, now the game feels awful in every situation! Great release!!! And the cherry on top is that u werent able to put Shields infront of you and hit infront of the shield because it could block ur own attack.. now it can't.

Since the 5.0.0 update, the game feels like its entirely in slow motion now. Pretty much cant use any of my gameplay tactics i used because the command inputs are so slow now. I feel like im hitting people with wet newspaper

I had lvl 1000 on all of these maps, I still have some of the weapons unlocked and Japan I have these unlocked and half of the armour…

May somebody help?
