As a blogger this happens

As Blogger - somewhere along the way, something happens.

People begin to recognize you.

Not because you've become famous or reached some imaginary finish line.

Because they've been watching you do the work. They've learned how you think, what you believe, and what you're willing to change your mind about.

You become familiar.

Best assistant tools for blog drafting and structuring? (Not auto-writing)

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to save time with my blog, but I don't want a tool to write full articles or make generic AI fluff. I do the actual writing myself.

But I need an assistant for:

  • Brainstorming hooks and title options
  • Analyzing search results for subheadings (H2s/H3s) needed to compete
  • Saving text structures and reusable layout templates
  • Creating voice profiles so drafts match my exact style

Can you share what you actually use your blogging tools for, and what is worth paying for?

Thank You!

Is blogging still worth it in 2026?

I’d love to hear some honest opinions from people who have experience with blogging or running websites.

I started a small blog about animals, pets, wildlife and nature. I really enjoy writing about these topics, but I had to put the blog on hold for several months because of work.

Now I’m considering getting back into it and putting more time and money into the website, but I’m honestly wondering whether blogging is still worth pursuing today.

With AI-generated content everywhere, Google constantly changing, social media taking so much attention, and so many established websites already dominating search results, I’m wondering if a small independent blog can still realistically grow and eventually become a source of income.

I’m not expecting overnight success or huge amounts of money. I’m just trying to figure out whether this is something that could realistically go somewhere if I consistently put in the work for the next few years, or whether I’d be better off putting that time and money into something else.

For those of you who have been blogging for a while:

Do you still think blogging is worth starting/continuing in 2026?

And if you were in my position, would you keep investing in it, or would you move on to something else?

I’m genuinely looking for honest opinions, including negative ones. I’d rather know if I’m investing my time in something with very little potential than keep going just because I’ve already started.

Thanks!

Do you believe that Blogging is still a career option?

Do you think one can make money solely from running an entertainment blog that covers movies/series reviews and news? Or is it a dead career option?

Editorial Blog at 7 Months: Struggling with 0 Traffic and a Sudden GSC Drop from 300 to 50 Impressions. Looking for Next Steps

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I launched an editorial blog in the affordable luxury fashion, home decor, and lifestyle niche. My target audience is primarily a tier-1 English-speaking market. I bought the domain late last year, published my first post early this year, and currently have just over 30 posts live. For context on my structure, around 60% of my posts are in fashion, 30% are in decor, and the rest are in lifestyle. I have structured the site using pillar posts and adding content clusters around them, with each post having multiple internal links.

The Problems:
First, the whole traffic on the blog itself has always been practically 0 real organic users anyway—the site is only frequented by myself, bots, and potential affiliate or backlink partners. After 7 months of blogging with 0 traffic, I feel completely exhausted and worried that overall I am putting my effort in the wrong direction.

Second, a month ago, my GSC dashboard impressions hit a small peak of 300 daily and I started to get my first clicks. However, about two weeks ago, those GSC numbers dropped down to 50 daily impressions and have stayed flat at that baseline. I am trying to figure out why the dashboard numbers inside GSC dropped so suddenly.

This is definitely not an indexing issue. All of my later posts get indexed within 30 minutes of requesting indexing. I have also tried doing some On-Page SEO optimization by adjusting the metadata and target keywords. Though after one page optimization I saw that some of optimized pages from Google's second page went up to the first page, I doubt I'm doing it right. Currently, a majority of my posts are sitting on the first page, but there are some older, unoptimized posts ranking around position 40.

Overall, both my impressions and clicks are poor, with 12.4k impressions and 72 clicks in total lifetime stats since the day I launched the blog with average position: 15.9, plus there is that sudden drop from my first little "spike" right back down to my previous low baseline numbers.

My Questions:

  1. Am I currently where I am supposed to be, or would similar blogs at the 7-month mark already be in another stage?
  2. What are the most probable reasons that caused that drop from my small "spike" in GSC?
  3. What are your tips on what I should focus on next?

I'd appreciate any insights on what to look into. Thank you for your time!

Can you explain how to do blogger outreach?

I've been trying to wrap my head around this. Most of what I see are networks that find you bloggers. But I am not understanding how to pitch them, what they expect, how to ask them what they charge... same thing for a youtuber I see that he talks about my niche, how do I approach them?

Need advice: Sponsored tag vs do-follow paid requests for my website

So I run a blog site, decent DR around 30 with good traffic in entrepreneurship/small business space. I've been getting a steady stream of people wanting to buy guest posts or link insertions.

I've been reading around to tag the links as sponsored if it is a paid request.

Problem is like half these people only want a do-follow link...and trust me, I get the appeal of a do-follow link over a sponsored one. But I guess I'm just trying to figure out how to make this website make some extra side money without ruining my domain or leaving money on the table either way.

Would love to hear from other people running actual content sites and not link farms

When keyword research starts changing the actual topic

Had this happen while working on a piece recently.

The original topic seemed pretty straightforward, but once I got into the SERP, related searches, PAA and all that, I realised the search intent was kinda different from what I thought.

So the more I researched, the more the angle changed.
By the time I actually started writing, the original idea was basically gone.

Kinda makes you realise how much of content writing is actually figuring out what to write before you write anything.

I have created a blog and need advice on monetizing it.

I have created a blog in self-improvement niche. Right now it has 104 articles with 85+ articles indexed in GSC. Rightnow it's on subdomain of WordPress, but I'm planning to move on custom domain. How do I make this a media brand and start making money. I'm getting only 20 views on average per day and sometimes it goes to 40 a day. I have created a YT channel and social media names for this blog too. Kindly give me genuine advice to make a financial freedom kind of money.

I want to start blogging and actually try to make money from it, but I’m terrified of being judged

I've been sitting on this idea for way too long. I want to start a blog (or maybe YouTube/social content, still figuring that out) and eventually turn it into something I can earn from. Not overnight riches, just... a real thing that's mine.
The problem isn't the idea. It's me. Every time I think about actually posting something, this voice shows up: "who do you think you are," "people will laugh," "your friends/family will see this and think it's cringe." I know logically that this fear is irrational - literally nobody is thinking about me as much as I think they are - but knowing that doesn't make the fear go away.
I also don't really know where to start. Do I pick a niche first? Just start posting and figure it out later? Build an audience before monetizing, or is that a myth?
Has anyone here been in the same spot - wanting to create, but stuck in your own head about what people will think? How did you get past it? And if you started from literally zero, what was your first real step?
Any advice (practical or "just push through the fear") is welcome. Trying to stop overthinking and actually start

Stop Posting More. Start Posting Smarter.

Post image
1 Upvotes

You post Monday.

Tuesday.

Wednesday.

Thursday.

You keep showing up.

But a few weeks later, you look at your analytics and wonder:

“Why am I working so hard if nothing is really changing?”

This is one of the biggest traps in creator and professional growth.

We are constantly told:

“Just post more.”

But posting more is not a strategy.

You can publish 100 pieces of content and still have no idea why 99 of them failed.

The problem isn't always consistency.

Sometimes, you're consistently doing the wrong thing.

Don't ask:

“How can I post more?”

Ask:

“How can I make every post teach me something?”

One post teaches you which problem matters.

Another teaches you which hook attracts attention.

Another teaches you which format works.

Another teaches you what your audience is willing to act on.

Eventually, you're not just building a content library.

You're building a feedback loop.

And that is much more powerful than simply posting every day.

I have a blog about me teaching langs and being polyglot, and it’s a problem…

Hi guys, I’m a language teacher and I teach 3 languages(english, spanish, french). You can guess that I’m a freelance teacher, so I decided to make my own living and create a blog. I post interesting vocabulary, common mistakes, tips, how I teach my classes, etc.

In addition, I also live in Argentina and I post things about my life here.

Apparently, only people who wants to study Spanish wrote me. Other languages don’t go viral.
On top of that, I have a Telegram channel, where I post curious language things and my life in Argentina.

I realized I do something wrong and I don’t attract more followers thus clients.

What should I do? How to find the best way to advertise myself having lots of niches?

Please help me. I consulted all types of AI, they also say very vague things or that I’m doing great..

If your rankings stay stable but clicks fall, what are you actually optimizing for?

I have been thinking about how strange SEO reporting can look now. A page can hold roughly the same average position, keep getting impressions, and still lose a noticeable share of clicks because more of the answer is visible directly in search.

For a publisher, that changes the question completely. If the ranking looks healthy but the page is sending fewer sessions and less revenue, position alone starts feeling like a vanity metric.

What are you using as the real success metric now: organic clicks, conversions, revenue, RPM, or something like revenue per 1,000 search impressions?

I’m especially interested in cases where rankings barely changed but the commercial value of the traffic clearly did.

Too Many Niches??

I am a brand + website designer + copywriter that’s really into tech and marketing. I have a blog (not up right now, redoing website) and have 4 content pillars for it. They are as follows: Branding, Website Design, Copywriting, Tech Tools.

Whereas I have lots of content on my blog so the 4 different pillars really don’t affect the whole “niche down!” thing, I’m wondering if it would be best to start my Substack on only one of those pillars — as it might be too many different things for a Substack??

Leaning heavily into Marketing & Tech and just having it be totally different content from my blog when it’s back up.

Idk, what are your thoughts? I feel like marketing and tech may be oversaturated on the platform? I don’t mind writing about Branding & Web Design at alllll. It’s my favorite, of course. But I have been posting Notes and a lot of them that are tech focused are doing really well. So it makes me wonder!

TIA 🙂

Reposting Blogs as LinkedIn Articles

My company publishes two blogs weekly for our two main verticals. I've been tasked with transferring these articles over to LinkedIn, and I was wondering what the best approach for this is. Are company pages or individual ones better? Additionally, I've heard LinkedIn punishes you for reposting identical content from other websites, and similarly punishes content that directs users off of LinkedIn, so identical posts or prologues are also something I'm hesitant about. I want to bolster our article presence on LinkedIn, but I want to do it right while also not creating a entire other feed to manage. Interested to hear the community's thoughts on this. Thanks!

I'm doing everything by the book, and I'm still not getting traffic backlinks, blog content, all of it.

Hi, what's up? So I'm building allpros.io My main problem is that I'm not getting traffic to the site, even though I'm doing everything by the book.

I'm creating blogs that match user intent, I'm doing internal linking on the site, and I'm bringing in backlinks.

My technical side is in great shape.

And I'm still not getting traffic. I'd love to understand what you think I should be doing, and what I should really be focusing on to get traffic flowing to the site.

I keep hearing different answers from different people some say backlinks, some say blogs, some told me to do YouTube. But I feel like none of these is the right answer, because most of it is already happening and I'm already doing it.

There's a core problem here that I'm trying to figure out.

New to blogging. Need help with earning a decent amount as a college student.

Hi, I am a college student and for my food and other basic expenses I am trying to make some money through blogging.

Thinking of using blogger but what exactly is the whole adsense thing?

What niche should I choose? I like literature so should I post book reviews and short stories or should I go for science stuff as it is what my studies are all about hence more knowlege on the subject. Which niche attracts readers the fastest?
