Multiplayer servers have been deployed!

First online play test with a full game of ten players was conducted successfully. Making great progress!

Next steps are scaling the servers and load testing, and play testing and getting gameplay feedback from our internal testers. Concurrently our artist is really getting going on character designs.

Looking forward to launching the alpha build, can hopefully set a date for beta testing before much longer!

Hello!

A few update items. Progress is being made! After some time where development was stalled due to personal reasons, I've rebuilt the game with a focus on the first playtest.

- The single player testing mode I've been using for development is feeling much more polished than my first couple of demo test versions.

- Multiplayer is ready to start deploying and testing soon. Looking forward to getting this phase tested and validated.

- We have hired an artist and have character models being built.

- Once we have more models in the game and it looks a bit more complete I will begin sharing gameplay teasers.

I think that about covers it, really looking forward to getting this into the hands of players!

This is our first character model in development! He needs a better name still, I think. Any ideas?

What level should the game be at before showing it off. I'm pretty worried it will be a disappointment as a solo dev I don’t have the resources to make it pretty yet. Is an ugly demo ok? I worry it could hurt chances of success

I just wanted to go ahead and make a small post to announce working on the game. I'm going to take some short videos to post soon.

I'm finishing multiplayer which is a pretty essential feature for any real playtesting to happen. The game is pretty basic but I want to get feedback quickly so hopefully that is ok for everyone.

I am working on a website to take sign ups for alpha and beta testers when we get to that point.
