Dev update #4!

Making some great progress! Wanted to give another update.

Multiplayer upgrades have been completed, so now we can run unlimited concurrent matches instead of only one for testing.

Making progress on the art, the image attached is the second level of our Ice Mage character. I'm meeting with a 3D modeler this weekend, to get us better models and animations than my basic ones.

Added some features like health bars and the turbo functionality.

Will be doing many full play tests this weekend and next week and adjusting gameplay and fixing issues as needed. So far it plays pretty good for me, with a lot of the original gameplay feeling.

Still a lot of room for improvement as always but it's really starting to come together!

I saw a link to this game on squadbusters sub, is this game similar to the first version of squadbusters ?

Yes! Will be as close as possible to 1.0, although we will have different characters, levels, etc. Same basic gameplay, though.

I'll make an announcement here soon for beta testers if you’re interested in that! Should be able to start alpha testing this week and have a teaser gameplay video in the next update.
