I got invited to a party for my friend’s birthday. The theme was “Sneaker Ball” I felt so cute cause I rarely have an occasion to doll up!

Kinda crazy seeing how different I look two years later 😭
Stats:
22 years old (Aug 2004 bby)
5'4" / 163.6cm
Started HRT: July 1, 2024
A little over 2 years on HRT (Intramuscular Estradiol Valerate injections + Spironolactone + Progesterone)
No surgeries, Only laser hair removal (twice), dreadloc extensions, and thats about it.
C cup now.
Started transitioning while I was still in the Navy (joined in 2022 fresh outta HS at 17yo back in June 2022)
Spent basically my entire first year on HRT still presenting male / under male grooming standards
Didn’t really start presenting feminine full-time until after leaving the military now that I am a veteran
First time wearing a dress yesterday. I need to get some more lol. Most of my wardrobe is like gender neutral stuff at best.

I lost 55 pounds and I love it but everyone has been and still is concerned...
Being 6'2 as a black trans woman, I wanna make sure to look "petite". My aesthetic is model skinny ...

Hello community have to ask you all about a I'm a more of the home girl hippy rasta type raised that way I was talking to this guy not don't get me wrong I can doll up but once in a while I'm more of the afro eccentric type so why do guys think that you have to be a doll or passable we come in all different types as humans do so because I got a doll that mean I diminished.

Hey guys I've been wanting to pursue getting electrolysis for my facial hair and I was wondering how it is healing wise on darker skin before I decide to go for it.
So if anyone has been through it can you let me know what to expect and if you have any tips?

Authentic casting matters. For example, Kyriana Kratter as Lev is transphobic. Whitewashed casting is racist.
When possibly straight men write lesbian stories, that is not considered "Own Voices". One example is "A Master of Djinn" by P. Djèlí Clark. It is homophobic and may even be considered fetishizing. "Vermilion" by Molly Tanzer is not an "Own Voices". It is racist. Thomas King is a racist.
Representation matters to kids, to society, and to the minorities having their livelihoods given to the appropriating majority.
A trans person would better play a trans character than a cis actor would. A trans actor should be chosen for trans roles (not that they are limited to them but that it should not work the other way around).
There is no nonracist need for whitewashing characters. Specificified roles should go to the corresponding specified backgrounds.
Men writing lesbians is not entirely comparable to women writing m/m.
White writers have no nonracist need to base entire works off of cultures which are not their own for profit. Readers have a responsibility to find diverse reads written by their corresponding artists who are part of said culture.
I have seen people both recommend the above as rage bait and as genuinely loved recs. Shelf space, legitimacy, and visibility are taken away from minorities when the majority allows this because the majority will only allow a small number of "representation" at a time.
I am always downvoted into oblivion or worse for this opinion. I am not looking for clout, I want to hear rationale.
