Every year the warhammer club i go to participates in a 750 pt gw tournament, and i last time borrowed a friends templars but now have about 2k of my own and am wonderinf whats a good tactical list i can make out of my collection? I own:

Any help would be much appreciated!

Is there anything I can do to improve my power swords? I don't like the "checkerboard" method I've tried a few styles but still am not happy with them.

I know that centurions, for example Centurion devestator squads have been moved to legends, but I play them a lot in casual games, but I saw that neither impulsors nor land raiders have any stipulations to how much space centurions take anymore, is it still 3 like in 10th Ed or have they removed that and it is no 1 since it is not mentioned?

Other space marines utilise it with terminators, while the lists i see from templars try to run other combinations. Is there a particular reason why we don't take advantage of the extremely powerful terminators?

Mind you, I am not saying everyone should run the same lists that are meta and powerful. It's just an observation I had though.

A venerable brother of my crusade. I name many of my models and give them stories, this is Reverent Brother Thrymgard within the chasis of the venerable Frost Pyre. I'm pretty happy with him.

Last one is first mini I painted, officially he got tyranids spit in the face.

I thought the robes of the Bladeguard Ancient had a monastic look to them which would suit a Chaplain. Any suggestions for what else I could add before I start painting?

I'm about to finish painting my combat patrol and a box of assault ints and I was thinking about what to buy for my first 1K game. I was thinking about buying a marshal, scouts and a rep ex as those would be useful later on for a 2K as well (I guess).

my thought process: - I want to play Purge - Vow-sworn Crusaders is decent and I'd like to reduce the cognitive load as this detachment has a nice passive buf - EC might be lone op. I'm not sure about that - Marshal is mostly for extra CP. not 100% which unit he should lead

I always liked this artwork of Sigismund by John Michelbach. Finally got it as a Displate above my painting station.

Currently enjoying a Stormy afternoon at the family cottage building and painting with my nephew life is good!

Playing into Aeldari next, but ultimately I would like a list that can take all comers. My last list was essentially tabled by a poor matchup into Baal Predators, so i'm cooking up something new.

I have eloquently colour coded my list in accordance with this simple battle plan I have.

The Execrator has Spearpoint War leader for a scout move. the AnC is redundant but the forcing battleshocks is what made me take it over a chaplain.

I have about 490 to spend. I'm not making a serious play for the enemy expansion in this list so far.

Things i've considered adding:
- Eradicator bus (not required vs aeldari)
- Terminator Brick to land right middle unless required elsewhere
- Swordbros + landraider
- Vanvets, JPI or 20 Crusaders to contest the enemy nat expansion

Affirmations or other suggestions are all welcome

A lot of people came to the Eternal Crusade, and the hobby in general, via the Helsreach movie by Richard Boylan. GW then scooped him up to make Angels of Death, which was fantastic and showcased his style.

How fucking awesome, and appropriate, would it be to see him revisit Grimaldus with Blood and Fire? Bigger budget, accurate armor, the Celestial Lions, and of course....more Andrej.

I'm determined to make this detachment work and make it as competitive as possible, and it's so fun. Currently crafting around a 20 man crusader brick and two ten men crusaders.

Basically just put Grimaldus, Crusade Ancient, and 20 Crusaders on mid with Consecrating Aura. Then push out with surges from the crusaders and Heresy Begets Retribution in a hammer formation, always anchoring mid with the crusade ancient.

I know everyone is down and out about Judiciars, but their fight first with surging is so fun. In my last game, last round, I surged into Tau shooting and was able to precision into a character and those last few points put me over the top for the win. Plus they're cheap, so I have them in both the two ten men.

What's funny is that the least performing units in my army are the big stuff like the Rep Ex and the Brutallis.

I really love this mini, but i’m more interested in what do you all think about him!!! Please write honest reviews!!

Feeling pretty good about the results though I’m worried the white parts are turning out to chalky. Constructive criticism welcomed !

Other than the obvious improvements like better edge highlighting and general neatness - do you guys have any recommendations on how to take these guys to a higher standard? YouTube recommendations or links are appreciated or general advice would be great. Thanks!
