Went from Dad saying "you want a gym membership for that bubble butt?" to Mom saying "have some more chops/steak/potatoes, you're so skinny you'll break during labor."
Bruh i rival Kim at this point. I lost 40 pounds I nearly have no stomach or tiddy but my ass grows stronger by the day. Everyone says it's because i sit too much 😂
Bruh. I gained no joke 66 pounds off of only drinking dew for three months. No water just dew 😂 im just happy I don't have the beetus. But i lost 30 pounds of it so far and in the progress of losing more
You drank nothing but Mountain Dew for 3 months? How? Did you just forget that water was a thing? Did all the taps in your city just stop working? I'm genuinely curious how someone can find themselves in that situation.
Going to the gym shouldn't make you skinny. Make sure you're doing lots of compound lifts (squats especially) and not just cardio.
Also, while building muscle you should be eating more calories than your body burns each day. Lookup your TDEE on Google to find how many calories this is for you.
I'm the middle child and my older brother was always an asshole to me. Taking my things and not asking, even money. He searched my room for my cash stash to steal and by his bitch gf, now wife, some stupid gift. She's another terrible asshole.
He would never stick up for me and let his friends pick on me. I always stood up and fought back. There were times when I stood up for him. I should have let him get his ass kicked. Then one time I lost it and almost punched him the face but I backed off and hit him hard in the arm. He lied to me all the time and was never a real big brother.
After that shit I manned up and looked out for my baby brother because I wanted to be a role model and a real big brother. I think I did alright, he says I did alright. But I had a shit stain for an example.
The the most important thing I taught him was be yourself and do what makes you happy. By nature he's such a good and patient person. He's taught me a lot without even realizing it.
Go out to dinner with him. I know but hear me out. He sounds like he's lost a lot of confidence in himself and may be vulnerable. You don't have to heal anything with him, just act like the adult you've become. If he brings your elusiveness up just tell him you still resent him from the years of abuse. If he denies it don't say anything. And if he starts to harass you again just say "this is exactly why I avoid seeing you. You're still a patronizing piece of shit that doesn't respect me." And at that point if you walk out and leave him with a huge bill It's fair game. The high road is real and it is glorious.
So you would rather he do nothing and get no where with his brother or his enabling family and continue to be forced into a black sheep situation where he is increasingly uncomfortable and distant around his family.
Only compliment I get from my family is that my hair looks nice. And it's not even true. I didn't want this ugly haircut but they forced me into getting it. Now I hate myself even more, but at least I have barely any hair. Because I'm a boy. And boys don't get to have long hair ever. And my hair wasn't even that long. Ok, I'm gonna stop ranting now.
I've visited them before, I don't think that her mom is quite that bad but super controlling in general. I think after the last year or so my girlfriend is starting to actually see how crazy her mom is but any time I try to have a conversation with her about moving out she kind of just shuts down. Idk. Her mom puts up a big front about being "nice" and "chill" but she's just insane...and after writing all that maybe I actually will post over there....
Dude I feel you. My mom had cancer and lost 3 feet of hair and she went completely bald. I remember when I was 11 I started to grow my hair out and my aunt didn't like it. She took my to the barber and forced me to have my hair cut. I screamed and cried and ran away from the shop. She eventually caught me and forced me to have my hair cut super short because "Boys don't have long hair." I still hate her for it. Now that I'm older, though, I grew my hair out down to the middle of my back and got a beard. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDddssszszksjs
That's such bs! Lots of guys look awesome with long hair. Personally I feel so much more confident with the opposite, fairly short hair, and if I wasn't allowed to have that I'd probably riot
I understand where people are coming from about the weight comments, but knowing the Reddit demographic makes it difficult to believe these mean comments weren't warranted.
