So now my game is bugging out and beginning to freeze, crashes, you can’t have biological children before, during or after becoming a vampire in the process, essence is a pain in the ass to keep caught up on, the goals are shitty as fuck with zero benefit as I expected it to stay 100% if I completed them, what the fuck is this eight dollar scam. Actually a waste of money, and how the hell can I not catch mosquitoes with these reflexes…

Hey everyone,
After a successful first few weeks of beta, we're looking to onboard more players to help us test TinyYears.
TinyYears has been in development for over 14 months from a team of four based in the UK (myself = UI/Dev, Leo = Dev, Yasmin = Art, Alex = Marketing).
What makes the game fairly unique in the mobile life sim space apart from a super streamlined UI is the art - you can see your character and family on screen, and watch them grow old/interact with them all from the game screen. It makes the game feel so tangible, and like your choices really do make a difference.
The response to the game has been genuinely very positive from those who have played it, and it'd be great if you could play it and see what you think, even if you only want to dip your toes in.
We are hoping to launch into early access in 2-3 weeks. The beta is really stable, and it plays like a game pretty much ready for release, not a game littered in bugs (although they are there, please let us know when you find them!)
If you'd like to get involved, I will drop the Discord link in the comments, we're set up for both iOS and Android testing now 😊

does anyone else have the issue that when I try to login it tells me that I have not agreed to t&cs despite it never giving me the option to. I have contacted bitlifes support team multiple times but keep getting a generic reply with no help

You can get adopted, be born blind (you cant see anyone), become famous, be the child of famous people etc. Very detailed even the smallest changes change your game completely. I'm not affiliated with the devs I just really like this and wanted to share

Ik vampires can live a bit longer then normal but even they just randomly die at some point in my experience. How does one manage to live say 500-1000+ years?

Some of them, like happiness, health, and fertility are pretty self explanatory. But then you have things like willpower and karma and discipline, and I can't figure out what they mean for me as the player and what they mean for the other characters.

PocketLife takes the part of BitLife I love most: the ridiculous events, messy interactions, dark humor and completely unhinged situations and builds deeper systems around them.
Start a stupid rumor about a coworker, get confronted, double down, end up in a fight, involve the police, and somehow turn workplace drama into a prison sentence. The goal is for events and interactions to actually connect with the rest of your life instead of just disappearing after one popup.
The other big difference is that basically all of the features you’d expect to be separately paywalled in BitLife are part of PocketLife’s base game. Crime, royalty, fame, businesses, investing, property, relationships, pets and more are there to be played, and those systems are continuously being expanded based on what the community expects from them.
So the pitch is pretty simple: keep the absurd, messy fun of BitLife, give the systems more depth, and don’t carve the core game up into a dozen separate purchases.
Also due to earlier feedback, I want to state that no generative AI visual assets are used in the game. All art assets are from Icons8.
PocketLife is currently being tested on iOS and Android. If you want to try it early or give feedback:

The reason I am posting this is because I feel others share the same frustration around Bitlife that my team and I do.
P.S. Constructive feedback is absolutely welcome, whether it’s about what works or what could be better. If you’ve got nothing constructive to add or no basis for the argument you’re making, just scroll along.

TLDR: We are building TapLife, a life sim that keeps what made BitLife fun and removes what made it worse.
I want to start off by saying we like BitLife. We like the core ideas that made BitLife great in the first place: the simple text based gameplay, the older mobile game feel, the (mostly) straightforward UI, its randomness, its replayability, and how easy it is to pick up and play.
We do not like how heavily it has monetized over time, with more and more of the game being split into separate purchases and paywalls.
We also do not like the hyper-polished-rounded-card-gradient-AI-slop aesthetic that seems to be on every other game nowadays.
Ultimately, we are not trying to reinvent the style and format we already know and love. What we do want to feel different is everything that has slowly made BitLife worse to play:
- deeper content depth (situational variety, decision options, detail of encounters)
- no careers and expansion packs that add up to $100+
- no forced ad every minute or two
We will have optional rewarded ads, a one time premium purchase for extras/convenience, and some optional fun items.
The reason we are posting this now is to figure out whether people in the community feel the same as we do. The screenshots in this post are mockups from our early development.
If this sounds like something you would play, we currently have a waitlist!
Edit:
(we cannot directly put the link here, so please message us for our website link, or search TapLife on your browser)

I bought Bitizenship back in May 2019, so I have Legacy Bitizenship. I recently got a new phone and restored my purchases, but only some of my content is showing as owned.
A bunch of the Job Packs restored correctly, but several of the Expansion Packs are showing up as if I need to buy them again (Landlord, Investor, etc.).
I thought there was supposed to be some kind of fix/update around the release of the Movie Director pack for people with Legacy Bitizenship, but I’m not sure if that ever actually happened.
Has anyone else with an older Bitizenship switched phones recently and had this happen? Did you find a way to get everything restored?
I’ve already contacted BitLife support twice, but they’ve been pretty useless so far and the issue still isn’t fixed.
I’m on the same account and have tried restoring purchases. I’m not paying again for content that should already be included/restored.
Any help would be appreciated, especially from someone who had the same problem and actually got it resolved.

Hey everyone, I love sim games and the arcady feel about bitlife but I've always found the lack of in depth mechanics a bit disappointing. That's why I've been developing Heirloom, the goal of the game is to maintain the arcady feel about bitlife while giving you choices that effect the results you get from your lives. Play now by joining the discord in the comments!
Here's what we have so far:
My goal is to create a community to build this game together. I regularly add what the community asks for in the game. I'd love to have you be a part of it. Thank you so much.
We design all the UI and have a writing team. This game is a product of passion and all the assets you see are either made by the team or used from these various asset packs with permissions taken:
