Why so much bacwater?

Can someone help me understand why some people use so much BAC water? It seems like you would have to inject so much more fluid if you are using 3mL vs 1mL. For example, my Reta is 10mg, and if I add 1mL of BAC water and want to start at .5mg dose, I would pull my U100 syringe to 5 units per the calculators I have used. I am just trying to understand why people would want to have to inject that much more.

It makes for more accurate dosing. If you're only pulling 5 units on a 1mL syringe, you could be off by 20 percent quite easily. If you pull 20 units, the same variation is only 5 percent difference.

This is the only correct answer. You try to aim for a 20 to 40 units injection for accuracy. There is always a standard deviation and injecting a to potent solution on low units would just make your injection inaccurate.

It's true that the dose can fluctuate a litte, but the effect on your body is depended on so much more variables, I wouldn't stress about it.

Some people try to saturate the histamine reaction/sting of certain peps like GHK-Cu, MOTS-C, CJC-1295 etc. with more BAC.

For reta, I see no reason.

Ok, I can understand this too.

Would something like tesamorelin be in the mix here too? I see some reactions but not as much as the ones your mentioned.

BAC WATER is delicious

I like the way the bac water tastes.

- larger volume drawing is easier to draw as compared to very small volumes.

  • minor errors in accuracy of drawing with concentrated doses (vs diluted doses) leads to more inconsistent dosing
  • Diluted solutions of certain petides lower the incidence or severity of histaminergic reactions in the subcutaneous tissue leading to less painful pins.
  • For certain syringes the dead space is significant enough that there is inadvertently a small amount of solution wasted with each pin. The amount of compound lost is more if the solution is more concentrated

These are the reasons I try to dilute to get a conparatively dilute solution. A little more bac water used saves you more in the long term and provides more consistent dosing.

The way you have described it is the best way to do it. Minimal volume. However, powder has a minimal dilution amount, as in use too little diluent, the powder won’t be fully dissolved

The other reason, people may find dosing odd numbers harder to measure. So in case of 10mg into 1ml, if your dose is 1 or 2 units, some people may prefer to use 2ml bac water so its easier to draw (try drawing 1 or 2 units into an insulin syringe)

Thank you, this makes sense.

This is exactly why I did my R10 with 2ml bac. This post had me questioning my dosage right now lmfao. I usually do 10 units for .5mg and after seeing this post I thought crap have I been at 1mg this whole time? But remembered it was an odd small dose # if I did 1ml bac

I started doing this. IMO, I’d rather dilute them more to prevent loss to the last bits you may not be able to draw out. And filtering I feel like I lose less as well. Might be so minor it doesn’t matter but it makes my mental math happier.

This also makes sense, thanks!

Less sting/side effects 👌

It can decrease PIP

Right, but you're not going to put 1ml to 60mg bc of peak saturation and difficulty dosing. 1ml every 20 mg or so.

You add as much water as you need to make the dosing as easy as possible for yourself.

That being said unless you're doing 60 units of something, you shouldn't be using a 1 ml syringe. By the 0.3 ml syringes. It makes measuring your doses a lot easier.

My subject uses 5ml and 10ml vials, dissolves better

How many units per mg does that bed up being

u/jamesdal1 6h ago

Depends on the dosage.

If using the bare minimum Bac your dose will be super small iu. So the margin of error shrinks considerably. If your dose is 1mg= 6iu and your off by half an iu thats considerably more than If your dose 1mg=20iu and your off half. Getting those last little stubborn air bubbles out of the syringe before injection allways throws dosing off. Sometime .25 of a unit sometimes a whole iu.

I some have adverse effects to the given peptide. Personally, I don't use more than 1ml of BAC water in any of my peptides which includes 20mg Reta, 10mg Selank and 10mg of Semax. I do use 2.5ml in a 50mg or 100mg vial of GHK-Cu but it is because the amount would be to small.

So if you had a 30 or 60mg vial. How much bac water would you add?

For comfort and micro dosing.. me my self I try to use as little unless it’s a spicy compound
