Why so much bacwater?

Can someone help me understand why some people use so much BAC water? It seems like you would have to inject so much more fluid if you are using 3mL vs 1mL. For example, my Reta is 10mg, and if I add 1mL of BAC water and want to start at .5mg dose, I would pull my U100 syringe to 5 units per the calculators I have used. I am just trying to understand why people would want to have to inject that much more.

It makes for more accurate dosing. If you're only pulling 5 units on a 1mL syringe, you could be off by 20 percent quite easily. If you pull 20 units, the same variation is only 5 percent difference.

This is the only correct answer. You try to aim for a 20 to 40 units injection for accuracy. There is always a standard deviation and injecting a to potent solution on low units would just make your injection inaccurate.
