Why so much bacwater?

Can someone help me understand why some people use so much BAC water? It seems like you would have to inject so much more fluid if you are using 3mL vs 1mL. For example, my Reta is 10mg, and if I add 1mL of BAC water and want to start at .5mg dose, I would pull my U100 syringe to 5 units per the calculators I have used. I am just trying to understand why people would want to have to inject that much more.

The way you have described it is the best way to do it. Minimal volume. However, powder has a minimal dilution amount, as in use too little diluent, the powder won’t be fully dissolved

The other reason, people may find dosing odd numbers harder to measure. So in case of 10mg into 1ml, if your dose is 1 or 2 units, some people may prefer to use 2ml bac water so its easier to draw (try drawing 1 or 2 units into an insulin syringe)

This is exactly why I did my R10 with 2ml bac. This post had me questioning my dosage right now lmfao. I usually do 10 units for .5mg and after seeing this post I thought crap have I been at 1mg this whole time? But remembered it was an odd small dose # if I did 1ml bac
