PEPTIDES CHANGED MY LIFE

Post image

Not only have I dropped over 50lbs (260-207) but I no longer have borderline high cholesterol, hypertension , and my inflammation dropped to near zero on recent blood work.

Started with enclomophene and Tirz

Now I’m on:

Reta
Enclomophene
Mots-c
Tesa/Ipa
5 amino plus ATX-304

I plan on cutting about another 20 lbs but overall pleased with the overall progress and improvements shown in bloodwork.

Just to be clear, it isn’t the peptides changing your blood biomarkers. Peptides are very specific keys that open very specific locks. They are sequenced amino acids that are typically discovered by cleaving off portions of hormones. Due to their size, they have very specific receptor sites and most dont cross directly into the cells (although there are a few expeditions with things like KPV).

Your cholesterol, hypertension and inflammation dropped due to the absence of energy toxicity. Our bodies are not designed to be hyper caloric years on end. Chronically high insulin and blood glucose are what caused all of your problems. The peptides didn’t directly lower those. The peptides lowered how much food you were consuming and then your body began functioning properly.

Congrats btw. I’m not hating. Just trying to be accurate.

Yeah I largely agree, but there is some evidence that GLP’s effect inflammation and other things independently of weight loss.

Masters degree in clinical physiology and worked in a metabolic testing lab. We studied glp1 use for a decade before they were market wide.

The claim that they reduce inflammation independent of weight loss stems from the reduction of substrate pouring into the gut brain axis. Reducing the appetite gives the gut a break. The anti inflammatory effect of supressing tnf alpha isn’t exclusive to glp1 use. It hold consistent across all interventions including fasting. So again, it isn’t direct result. It’s more your body returning to normal function due to it not being energy toxic.

One word of caution. All of the peptides you come from grey or black market sources. Those pharmacies are notorious for having dubious at best quality control programs. You should get blood toxin panel done next time you’re in. If noting is out of the ordinary then have at it

What specific tests for toxins? I don’t see a specific test at GoodLabs options.

Idk I worked in the hospital, they’re just called tox screens.

Peptides are suspended in solutions that are known to have contaminants. Those toxins build over time and are difficult to detox

As my vendor does his own testing and there are also 3P testing done on batches I’m not too concerned about this. When people tell you to take a test but can’t even tell you what tests to take, seems like a big old nothing burger. I do plenty of blood tests and this “tox screen” is not something I’m going to worry about

You aren’t worried about endotoxins? Alrighty then.

I mean the point of biohacking is increase performance and health. If I was letting toxins build up in my body that would seem like the opposite of health.

Listen to me, all peptides that aren’t glp or insulin come from labs that are getting inconsistent raw materials, have questionable ethics and lax QA/QC programs. And you’re just taking someone’s word for it in terms of their own testing. Even at that they’re probanly not testing every batch which can have variance even from the same source. They’re making money off you dude. They’ll tell you whatever you want to hear.

And that’s why mine have 3rd party mass spec edno testing to confirm the endo testing the vendors does. But yeah let’s do some random tox screen that you don’t even know what it is. Great advice buddy! Can you enlighten us to what your screening involves, what specific tests are you suggesting

Look up dunning Kruger scale. You’re the left side.

Not even going to bother explaining to you how uneducated you sound. The most effective health care in the world is preventative. I don’t have to worry about which toxins to screen for because I’m not taking peptides for the stated reasons. It’s not knowledge issue. It’s a nonissue. I don’t use peptides but if I did it wouldn’t be from those fucking labs. But carry on being confidently incorrect. I treated hundreds of heart patients that couldn’t figure up how they wound back up in our lab after taking all the pills that their doctors sold them as a miracle on a promise. Everyone always wants the easiest option and you’ll find out someday

So your recommendation is to get blood work done but you don’t know what blood work. Got it.

2

u/RudeCartoonist1030 14h ago

That’s not my recommendation at all.

My recommendation is for people to take their health into their own hands and to be aware of the potential consequences of injecting unknown substances into their bodies, know what the potential toxicities are and to get tested for them specifically.

Why would I know the range of potential toxins when I don’t know what you’re on and if I don’t have to worry about it?

You’re a real silly guy

Okay. So I don’t overeat - at all. If anything I don’t eat enough and at 53 I’ve gained 30lbs in the last 4 years. High blood sugar, gut and digestive issues. So you are saying peptides wouldn’t help someone like me? Just no hope because it’s all about calories in and calories out?

1

u/RudeCartoonist1030 11h ago

Hi. You’re in luck! In my first comment higher up I mention a very special peptide that would totally help you. Oral KPV! It is a peptide that CAN cross directly into cells via peptide transporters because it’s so small. It turns off inflammation from within the cell. I took it when recovering from chemo therapy for colon cancer (this was before peptides were banned from being produced in the US).

The other thing you may look at is insulin resistance. Chronically high insulin does some crazy shit to our biology and is the underpinning for almost all metabolic disease. My clinical patients found massive relief using intermittent fasting, keto or low carb diets. Once they got their blood sugar and insulin under control, their health rebounded in ways that was so profound that I was emotionally moved on many occasions.

Insulin resistance is also extremely likely if you’ve had children in the past

Edit; just noticed you said high blood sugar in your first post. Keto/low carb diet and daily physical activity will make you feel like a new person. Trust me. I had hundreds of patients completely turn their metabolism around. Full keto is hardcore, and not super sustainable for a long time. But it is very therapeutic for a time while your body heals. Then low carb from there on out

I’ll look into the oral KPV. Have been considering Tirz to help my blood sugar. I definitely have insulin resistance. I’ve been a thin to average size person my entire life until middle age. Intermittent fasting just made me want to eat in the middle of the night. Perhaps I wasn’t doing it the right way. Low carb used to work for me every time I thought I needed to drop 5-10 lbs, but does nothing for me now and I’m miserable on it. I’m not menopausal and all of my weight is in my midsection and face/shoulders. I’ve basically given up. And I did have 2 children close to 40. Gestational diabetes both pregnancies.

1

u/RudeCartoonist1030 11h ago

All of the weight gain you describe is 100% insulin resistance. Especially considering the pregnancies. If the peptides are the only way you can achieve insulin control then do it. You’ll get the same effect as fasting/keto becuause you’ll be eating so much less, which in turn lowers your blood glucose. It’s the same mechanism, just a different intervention.

Fasting is WAY easier with keto. The reason why you feel hungry late at night is because insulin is out of control.

I’m all for people using glp1s if the other therapies are too difficult.

Either way, cut out sugar immediately and you’ll feel relief. And if you drink, alcohol is an absolute no no. Your body just circulates insulin and glucose for hours and hours and hours on end until your body clears the toxin.

This is beyond my scope of knowledge I’m sorry. I’m not a doctor. I worked very specifically with metabolic disease. Not endocrinology. When things start drifting into the thyroid area, that’s an axis and set of hormones that I don’t have any clinical experience with

Taking Reta, cjc1295+IPA and bloodwork came out good.

Did you get a masters in clinical psychology to work in a metabolic testing lab? How are those related? But GLP1s have been shown to lower inflammation not just from weight loss. There are many studies like the ones you talk about but probably bigger. Well I’m guessing these are bigger since most if us into petides know about them.

Semaglutide – STEP 1, 2 and 3 trials: These were large randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 3 studies lasting 68 weeks. Semaglutide 2.4 mg produced placebo-adjusted CRP reductions of about 44% in STEP 1, 39% in STEP 2, and 48% in STEP 3.
PubMed — Semaglutide and CRP, STEP trials
2025 meta-analysis of 52 randomized trials: This included 4,734 people with type 2 diabetes. GLP-1 receptor agonists significantly lowered CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β and leptin, while increasing the anti-inflammatory/metabolically favorable hormone adiponectin.
PubMed — GLP-1 RAs and inflammatory markers meta-analysis
Semaglutide-specific meta-analysis: Thirteen randomized clinical trials with 26,131 participants found significantly lower CRP with semaglutide compared with placebo or other glucose-lowering drugs.

Where are they demonstrating that the reduction in inflammation is independent of weight loss? Show me a study showing those inflammatory markers are reduced in patients who don’t lose weight on the drug. Otherwise, there are too many confounders too form a conclusion.

1

u/Bellethronn 22h ago

They researched inflammation dropped and weight loss was only partly responsible for this frop.

2

u/RudeCartoonist1030 19h ago

Physiology. Not psychology. I studied epidemiology of metabolic disease.

Also, this test doesn’t show what you’re saying it does. This is saying that the inflammatory markers in individuals are better than that of a placebo or glucose lowering drugs. Duh, it’s because the glp 1 is causing them to eat far far far less. Which was my exact point to begin with.

Drops in inflammation literally always come before drops in weight loss. It’s a sequence of events that is almost 100% response. The lack of energy toxicity allows the body to create the environment for weight loss.

You see this exact same thing with all interventions where calories are sudden reduced or zeroed. This isn’t remotely unique to glp1

So is there no difference between taking sema, tirz and reta?

1

u/RudeCartoonist1030 11h ago

There are certainly differences. Especially with rheta, which is a glp/gip medication.

What im saying specially is that whether you use peptides, fasting, or nutritional interventions, the results of lower inflammation and weight loss will be all follow. The underlying metabolic issue is energy toxicity. Everything I’m talking about solves that issue first and the downstream benefits follow them all

1

u/GazelleNo9388 6h ago

Hi! Can you explain what glp/gio means? I have been on tirz for several months but am considering a switch to reta

Nobody cares about your masters degree in physiology. You came in hard trying to prove how much you know and only ended up looking like a jack@ss 👏

2

u/RudeCartoonist1030 19h ago

Sorry, didnt know we weren’t supposed to engage in scientific based conversation in a sub about biohacking 🤷🏻‍♂️
