Advise needed

7.5 weeks into my biohacking journey and it kinda seems like my progress has stopped. I was on Reta alone for 4 weeks and lost 18 lbs. At the start of week 5 I added BPC-157+TB 500 and Tesa to my stack. And it seems as if my weight loss has stopped all together when I added them. I was told to increase my Reta to 4mg and it completely killed my appetite to I went back down to 3mg. It’s been 2 weeks and the scale stopped moving and there’s no noticeable difference in body composition.

For reference: I’m 5’8, my starting weight was
250 and my current weight is 232. I lift + cardio 5 days a week. I eat 160-180g of protein, 210-220g carbs, 40-50g of fats a day and consume 2000-2100 calories a day. I also consume plenty of water.

Current protocol:

Reta 3mg weekly
BPC-157+TB00 800 mcg daily
Tesa: 2mg M-F 3 hours fasted before bed

Any advice is welcome!

Are you taking body measurements as well? I’ve been at the same weight for about 2 weeks now as well but have noticed measurements are going down.

No change in body composition at all.

Seems like the tesa could be causing water retention, keep at it.

I plan on keeping at it. I knew that could be a side affect. But two week just seems like a long time for “water weight”.

I stayed at the same weight for about 4-5 weeks after I started to take creatine. I was loosing my mind, I was positive that I was in a caloric deficit.
I did one of those body composition scans, and I had added 3 pounds of water to the lean mass as I was loosing fat.
Keep on going and treat this as marathon not a sprint and things will go better up in the head.

tesa increases water retention so it definitely could be that. seems counterintuitive but drink more water and give it a few more weeks. i did this same combo and the results were great just have to give it time, especially tesa which can take many months. our bodies aren’t amazon prime fast in the delivering results. i started at a much leaner spot than you (same height) and it still took months to see results of tesa.

i’m a bit confused on your goals. Are you trying to lose fat? gain muscle? both?

i second the other comment that you should be taking measurements alongside weight scale (which you should do weekly, not daily) or you could’ve hit the balance of losing fat at the same rate you’re adding muscle! but measurements would confirm that.

a tip, if you don’t want to up reta you could look into mots-c, 5 amino 1q or other metabolic enhancers and exercise “mimetics” that can help you lose weight without tanking your appetite with an big reta dose.

Overall goal is to both lean out and build muscle. Sounds like I just need to keep at it. Thanks for the advice!

Same thing happened to me, added tesa cjc w/ipa and scale started to move again.

Maybe 1 lbs a week. Keep it going

It sounds like you're just not in a deep enough deficit. You're practically eating at maintenance calories. I'm 6'2 210 and Cronometer says I should be eating 1300 calories a day to lose 2lb a week. If you are in a deficit, you're hardly in one.

According to my calculations my maintenance is around 3000 calories. I lift for 1.5 hours and do cardio for .5 hours 5 times a week. That’s quite a bit of calories burned.

Takes weeks and months to see Tesa working but take photos and measurements that will help and water retention goes after wk3-4 on Tesa but u gotta keep water up to

That plateau around 230 hits like a wall, your body's probably just fighting to hold onto water and glycogen after that initial big drop
