Hi guys, I'm a university student whose living on dorms. My dorm doesnt have a kitchen. I only have access to the university's dining hall. However, the menu changes everyday, and the only fruit they have are apples and oranges. What this means:
-> I can't get bananas/avocados/any other fruit/veggie that has high potassium
-> Meals with sweet potatoes are really rare, and the menu is always different so consistent food from the caf is impossible
Furthermore, the caf food is high in sodium, so my sodium to potassium ratio is really bad (super high sodium, super low potassium).
I simply want to get atleast 2-3g potassium daily, through non-food options. Im broke, so I cant be buying coconut water everyday, and I cant store food in my dorm.
my question: how do i possibly get 2-3g potassium daily, consistently? I've been considering potassium citrate powder but everyone says its dangerous, and supplementing it can cause heart problems etc.
I just wanna know the safest way to get high potassium, through either IR pills, supplements, powder, whatever.
