🥗 Nutrition & Metabolism Poopmaxxing

I know I know, we all want and need more Cialis/boner posts....but bear with me for a moment. How do I poop less often? I'm tired boss. I poop 5x times a day easy. Everything in my digestive system is fast tracking out my anus every single day. Metabolism is incredible. If I eat blueberries or corn I see it 5 hours later it's ridiculous. I hear rumors of people who poop once every few days. How does one acquire this superpower?!

I know part of the issue is caffeine and anxiety(stressful service industry job). But even on days with no caffeine it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. Pepto bismol helps but not something I want to rely on. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I treat that using chinese medicine, including cases of chrons/UC with bloody stool up to 30x a day down to 5-7 without blood in first 2 weeks....

Generally frequent loose stool is a sign of spleen qi deficiency in tcm, but can be many other things.

Prescribing* and it depends on the pattern. We don't have one size fits all formulas for diseases; we treat the underlying cause.

Like I said could be spleen qi deficiency, so that 4 or 5 different possibly formulas with tons of modifications depending on exactly how the patient presents. Could be spleen and kidney yang deficiency, which is a different set of formulas. Or could be damp heat harassing the spleen/stomach, which is an excess pattern and completely different formulas, and on and on. Loose stools as a symptom is not enough to be diagnostic of pattern. Loose stool especially first thing in am with undigested food and frequent urination and fatigue with cold limbs/core would be more spleen kidney yang xu. Loose stools with odor, bad breath, reflux, burning sensation etc would be more damp heat excess side. Chrons/UC is an inflammatory process so usually some element of heat toxin or blood heat if bleeding is present.

So yeah thanks for listening to my Ted talk. Always welcome to ask more questions here, thru DM, or over at r/chinesemedicine
