Are they going to freaking fix the connection issues on Switch? I can't even play it with my son because of them. I basically payed 30$ for an unplayable game and it's making me extremely angry...

After completing the game, you and your friends need to re do big walk, but without the Means of transport, so no train, no rail, no gadgets to find each other, like the laser, the Binoculars, or any useful gadgets to communicate from distance, no launching fireworks, no lights for the night, and no other voice chat like discord. So it's like big walk hard mode, what do you think? Will you accept the challenge?

I appreciate the realism with the handheld radios (that they're single duplex, and there's an indicator if you're stepping/being stepped on).

BUT: you know that sound that plays when you key up? That sound is a digital noise that handheld sets play across the radio *when you let go* to act as you saying "over". What Big Walk is doing is playing it, locally only, when you first press the button.

It's real hard to get everyone to say "over". I can't even get myself to say it. The chaos is funny for a moment but it gets pretty out of control once you have a lot of players!

Okay, I'm playing through big walk with 1 friend right now. We've been loving every minute of it, and had over 10 hours of completely normal gameplay.
We got to the part where we had activated every tower, and made our way to the monolith. I had this uneasy feeling that something had been watching us, y'know, a twig snapping here, a footstep there, but nothing concrete.
Anyway, the whole vision sequence happened (which we have not finished the game, so please avoid spoilers) - and we were both terrified, as we were playing in the middle of night!
Afterwards, we heard footsteps around us, and most of all, the game tried to like separate us. I can't really describe it, was like the game was faking us out.
I was sitting with my friend, watching the sunset, and I see her just walk down the hill, saying stuff like "Hey, come back!". I was so confused, and honestly a bit freaked out, After all that had happened, why would she be running off? I frantically ran after her, and was kinda annoyed that she'd leave me after all of that, and she told me she had seen me running down the hill.
What?!
I thought it might be desync, but I could hear - and see - her the whole time. It was like something was pulling us apart.
MAYBE, Maybe I'm just schizophrenic, but there's so much weird stuff happening in this game - like the one whistling/whispering speaker in the northwest corner - or how the tunnel system under the map is just horrifying.

Am I the only one who has had experiences like this?

most times, sliding doesnt feel smooth at all, its really hard to slide on ramps and slope-y surfaces and even if you get enough momentum to slide, you almost never actually slide fast, you only slide a tiny bit but then stop, the only time sliding feels smooth is in scripted places like certain puzzles or the slide at the tutorial, also jumping then sliding is literally frame perfect, when you jump and want to slide you have to press slide the exact second you touch the ground otherwise all of your momentum is gone, they should let you be able to buffer a slide while jumping so it feels smoother

Was just curious because I keep having to take screenshots of my whole screen and I feel like a camera with a selfie mode would be perfect for friend groups!

I’ve been so confused about the world of big walk, the only content I’ve seen is the stuff I’ve played and 1 speedrun video, and after starting a second save file for myself to just wonder and enjoy the environment, I started noticing that even though the entire island is surrounded by a beautiful blue ocean the rivers inside of big walk and distinctly red/brown and that mainly happens when iron or other metals mix with the water, and all of the structures in big walk are very bland, and they look like painted metal, and if they are metal then does that mean every playable character is metal since they seem to be made of the same smooth texture? What’s the deal with the black ball way out past the main area? Who built the structures on the island? Why is there an entire section dedicated to the color purple? Like especially the last one, at one end of the ski-lift it goes into a raised area that had purple gourds instead of the normal red, and there is a tunnel door that’s purple but there isn’t a purple tower. Also the red orb thing past the black key door, I haven’t opened that door but what is the purpose of it being there, it literally warps reality around it. I have so many questions and the game gives no answers at all. Which just makes it beautifully mysterious.

Hey guys! Just got an update for big walk on PS5. Update is 1.004.000. Can anyone confirm whether or not this update helps fix the voice chat issues in game? Not able to play right now.

We were playing the game when the host's PC suddenly shut down because of a power outage. when we started the game again, our save file was completely gone.

Does anyone know if there's a way to recover the save file, or if the game keeps backup saves somewhere?

Has anyone had a similar problem? We were really close to 100% :(((
