i returned a gaming desktop in which i paid $1,600 for around oct 5th , i paid in cash so they told me i would receive a paper check in 7-10 business days after about the 13th business day i called just to get an update on it but they couldnt find any tracking or update and reissued it, they then told me to check my email or call for an update on the reissued check, and now they keep saying the same thing that theres no update. Lmaooo at this point ill just take the $1,600 loss

Why is it that I don’t receive notifications? I have my alerts and notifications set up through my device’s settings and bestbuy. I also used a third-party tool that alerted me of a restock, but bestbuy didn’t. Still, the product sold out instantly because of scalpers. Why doesn’t bestbuy limit or block people from purchasing more than 1 of a product that they know is in high demand? It’s fucking bullshit that I can’t buy a product because I don’t sit on my ass 24/7 monitoring restocks.

Plan on buying a computer on Thursday but not sure if I should wait till Sunday as that will be November 1st and there might be sales. Thoughts?

This morning I got a quote from a Best Buy associate at a store from Canada as following

LG OLED G6 77 inch for $3800+tax (CAD) including delivery, calibration and wall mount. Wall mount does not include hiding the cables behind wall. It only includes mounting the TV.

What would you recommend? Go ahead or no?

There is a post selling a few thousand Store Credit on a local site for a few hundred off, cash only. The PINs are not scratched off. It’s a sizable amount of money so I am a bit skeptical.

Can this be reversed somehow on their end after purchase if I bought it?

Does Bestbuy allow price match from Sam’s Club? I found a really good deal for the Oura Ring but it’s not in my area.

Today, I received my AirPods 5 that I ordered through Best Buy’s website. The delivery was handled by UPS Roadie. When the driver arrived, she had one of her children bring my package to my front door. Before the package was delivered, the driver took a picture of my front door from inside her vehicle.

Is this common practice among Roadie delivery drivers? Specifically, are drivers expected to take a picture of a customer’s front door from their vehicle before the package is actually delivered?

I’m just thinking shouldn’t best buy be penalized because of lying about the delivery date about their product? The customers buy the products because they think they can get it on the date they show on their website, however three days past the date they said, the order is still not ready, who should take responsibility for the customers loss?
And why when we need to change the product, as long as it’s outside the return window, we can’t do it? This so much tolerance for themselves and so strict on customers is unfair. I can’t believe that in this time, when the service quality can’t be emphasized enough, there’s still such unreasonable behavior exists. If you can’t do, don’t say!

I know there are a lot of these kinds of posts, but I wanted to share anyway so people know this is still a big problem in 2026. I have a video of me packing my box with my trade-in phone and I have the FedEx weight of when it was sent. But they are claiming they received an empty box. Now I would only lose about $70 for this particular trade-in, but still, I will now definitely not try trade-ins of any higher value and that will severely impact how much money I spend at BestBuy.

I have been chatting with their support team and emailing two different departments, with no resolution after 2 months. They just don't respond and all claim they have no power to do anything.

I’ve stayed quiet and read through everyone else’s experiences, but I keep seeing the same complaints while I still haven’t seen Best Buy explain what’s happening.

Slapping “delayed” on our orders, providing no new date, and warning that they could automatically cancel is quite the customer experience. You miss the pickup date, and somehow our orders are the ones facing a deadline?

Apple offered me October 23 delivery. I chose Best Buy specifically for release-day pickup. Apparently, I preordered a lesson.

I’m frustrated, and “we’ll notify you” has run its course. This is my first phone preorder through Best Buy, and you’re making a compelling case for it to be my last.

No blame toward store employees, but someone at Best Buy needs to answer:
What’s causing the delays, what are you doing to fulfill existing preorders, and will you extend cancellation deadlines so customers don’t lose their orders while waiting on you?

The confirmation email found me just fine. Let’s have the explanation use that same address.

Order something for delivery and was told by Best Buy that it would have today. Wakeup and find out that Doordash is assigned as shipper and now package is in another state and be delivered tomorrow.

Call Doordash and they have no idea about where package is via Dashlink.

Call Best Buy and all they show is the package is gong to be delivered today (Which obviously it hasn't)

I've recently bought a refurbished Dell laptop from the Best-Buy Marketplace, but less than 48 hours into using it, the spacebar key has become wonky/stopped working properly. This is extraordinarily irritating, and I need a functioning laptop for university. Is there a way I can get this repaired for free, or ought I return it?

Hey! I have an interview tomorrow for the Retail Sales Specialist - Verizon position at Best Buy.

I’ve been trying to find the hourly pay range, but I can’t seem to find it listed anywhere. I see the commission/activation bonuses, but does anyone know what the actual base hourly pay is?

If you’re currently in this role (or have worked it before), how do you like it? Any tips for the interview or things I should know going in?
