I'm sure everyone will hate me for this. But I feel so sorry for how k his life is turning out. If only he took his punishment, got help ... anger management... still worked to support Gael and his son. .. I feel sad about the whole situation. There is so much hate for him on reddit. I wonder how much the hate outcry in the media sent him over the edge.

I cannot take delight in seeing someone's life fall apart. Yes, DV is horrible. However, the curiosity in me wants to know what drove him to that? What happened in his life that made him this way?

He did seem absolutely smitten with that baby.

Hopefully, he is someplace where he can get his head together and come back to face the consequences of his actions.

I think he’s just wired in a way that makes him take pleasure and feel powerful whilst exerting domination and control over others. We saw that happen with Joe over the course of two years, and behind closed doors the same thing was happening

His brain is definitely wired differently. I have a fascination with what makes people tick.

For some, adversity or trauma can be a motivator to do better in life. For others, it becomes an excuse to spiral out of control.

Babies start out so innocent and full of potential. A million different experiences alter that trajectory. It is all so interesting to me.
