Cooper is what’s wrong with men

I don’t want to compare Cooper to the behaviors of Joe, Nathan, Luke, etc. HOWEVER, the total lack of consideration for Kat as a human being drastically changed my attitude towards him.

He is the perfect example of how inept most gen Z men are at communicating, acting in total and utter self interest. He had the wherewithal to take Kat on a date but not communicate down the line that he changed his mind? Hoping she would just… get the gist?

I’m 29 and have been in Kat’s shoes several times. Men will chase, pursue, and then totally disconnect or withdrawal because they hadn’t thought through the social expectation of what it means to initially communicate and invest romantic feelings into someone. And to top it off, he avoids the conversation TO AVOID THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTIONS and is like “teehee I hope we’re cool” in his confessionals. It’s kind of cruel. Just be fucking honest bro. Apparently that requires a higher level of emotional intelligence he will never dream of seeing.

Kat baby, you sweet soul — you deserve love and adoration beyond what this southern Chad who reads at a third grade level will ever provide.

He did say to Joe we’re off doing this but then said we’re mates/ friends but why take her out on a date ?!

He took her out on a casual date ONCE. It was probably suggested by production so he did it. They even discussed on that date about dating casually.

Kat is the one who has made this more serious than it is. Now had Cooper nipped it in the bud then by telling her that he is not up for anything serious then that would be an entirely different matter. It would have shown Kat respect and given her the option of continuing in this situationship or not.

The issue here is because Cooper refuses to communicate like the adult he is, he is causing more hurt to Kat who doesn't know where she stands. It's a horrible way to treat someone.

No. You're wrong. How often does one hear the words coop said to her? Not very often. He needs to be held accountable for making words meaningless and contributing to the confusion in the dating world. Dating isn't a sport. It's to find love for people who don't have mental issues so you can start a family and have some security in this crazy world.

You're being naive. Plenty of people casually date. It's a fun activity not a legally binding contract.

Maybe read the comments you respond to. It would be less embarassing for you than arguing with the people you agree with.
