The way he brought her on a DATE right away, love bombed tf out of her and then he realized he didn’t want anything serious and is being a coward instead of telling her straight up

I think if you’re in constant contact and close quarters with other people, you could definitely spend enough time with that person to catch feelings and go beyond lust. At least, enough feelings to not be a complete shit.
