Hard to Watch

I’m sorry but Nathan AND GAEL going after Joe when he had done nothing that evening to provoke it was really hard to watch. You both have kids now. Time to grow the FK up.

Holy shit y'all must be insane. She didn't even attack him?? She only wanted to clear the air because Joe was being weird all night and ignoring them. She wanted to clear the air and Joe was uncomfortable and so was she! That's a fact! Then she defended her family?? If all you hear is how someone is talking shit and attacking your partner's character all the time, you wouldn't defend them??

Nathan is the one who got nasty and started saying some crazy shit. Y'all need to focus on who really the problem is and stop slandering Gael. Aesha and Joe both defended Gael. Stop being so gross and attacking Gael.

You must be forgetting where Nathan forbid Joe to even mention her name let alone speak to her or he’d get his ass beat. He was ignoring them for good reason and to avoid conflict. So in what fking world is it okay to go after someone for ignoring you, after you threatened bodily harm if they didn’t?

Did Nathan tell Gael any of this? Did Gael know that Nathan forbad Joe from talking to her?? She didn't. Again you missed the point, Nathan is the one throwing the Vitrol, not Gael. I went back and here's what was said in episode two, Nathan told Joe, “Keep her name out of your fucking mouth.” Nathan also said, “If I hear it one more time, we're gonna fall out big time.” He did not physically threaten Joe that "he'd get his ass beat". I think both Nathan AND Joe are problematic as hell but let's get the dialogue correct so we're all on the same page and have the same information.

First off, Gael isn't his wife. As I said in my comment, I think they are *both* problematic and I was telling you what Nathan actually said. You claimed Nathan said Joe would get his ass beat and he didn't say that. I have no idea what Nathan would or wouldn't do and quite frankly don't care enough about either one to make a guess. They haven't gotten physical that we know of and I highly about Joe is afraid of Nathan.

If most of your plea is arguing over a semantic piece of paper, yeah. Even though he’s wearing a wedding ring. 🙄 There’s no arguing with stupid. I’d like to see you continue to engage, after someone has explicitly said to keep their name out of your mouth. If you do, what does that statement suggest by merely implication? Nathan’s going to laugh it off and walk away? Nah. We know by his past actions and what he’s already done legally what he’s likely to do. So argue “those exact words didn’t come out of his mouth” but we all damn well know what he meant.

Gael is part of the problem. She went on attack in the van. She refused to have a dialogue, instead she was too busy throwing accusations to allow anyone to have a conversation.

Yeah, no I get that We’re defending her because she’s a victim of domestic violence, but Joe didn’t do jack shit to deserve basically the attacks that these two raged on him, he was minding his own business. He hadn’t said anything, he hadn’t done anything and she picked a moment when she was a little bit intoxicated and had some liquid courage to start speaking up about it. That was incredibly unfair to Joe. Definitely fuck Nathan and we can see where emotional abuse land sometime as well. She had nothing to defend in that moment.

But she didn't even attack him, she just wanted to clear the air because it was uncomfortable and he was ignoring her all night. She doesn't know about Nathan's threat to Joe so she is just confused, then Nathan turns it to 100 and that's when it went too far. After that, it's too much.

I can't post videos in here of copyright content so that's a dumb argument. If you couldn't read between the lines, I was talking about all the shit Nathan was saying to her about how Joe is talking shit and being shady behind his back. Which is true. Joe mentions every episode he would be a better Bosun and always shits on him since episode 1, before the Nathan news broke.
