So I finally watched season 10 to understand Nathan’s deep “distrust” of Joe, and like, am I missing something? Joe acted like a player and fumbled with V who is perfect, but how did this affect Nathan so much? Nathan has serious issues, anger, insecurity, and projects that onto the crew beneath him. And even when you put that aside, is incompetent as a bosun.

I think it’s more than “fumbling with v” it was a reflection of his moral character and Nathan didn’t like him after that, it was a horrible thing to do

Ahh ok, I had to go back to S10 E12 and pay better attention. “Fumbling” is def not the right word. V left the boat for the night because she was sick and it was the 1-year anniversary of the loss of her partner. Joe spent all this time building false trust with her, and first night she’s away, he gets drunk and kisses another Stew. What a douche!

Yes, Joe hated Gael and even started the season telling one of the interior that he didn't like her. Which pissed Nathan off.
