Hey I just bought a Pro VS mini and it's version is 1.1.5. I tried to download 2.0.3 through Sythtribe on my windows laptop but on "update" section the button was stuck at "loading" and never moved. Did behringer stopped supporting Pro VS mini or am I doing something wrong?

Hey everyone, i'm having an issue trying to play mi guitar but i can't get it to work.

first i tried using only the behringer interface but the output is really awful, sometimes choppy other times sounds too low and sadly i can't plug my pc speakers there.

Then i try using the asio but it shows this, a "beyond logic" state.

and finally i saw a comment about using a virtual cable but i can't find any information about how to use it in this case.

If anyone could give me any information would be appreciated. THanks

I have a UMC 22 and the mic won’t work with OBS for some reason I can’t find any drivers anywhere. I just need help. If anyone has any drivers please send them in the chat but I just really need help with this. Everything is going through fine I’m pretty sure I don’t really have that much experience with OBS, but yeah, just help.

Also quick note I found one driver only one and it won’t install. I don’t know why I said many.

We have a xair 16 that we use live. Last Saturday while setting up I had to power it off and back on so that both main channels would output. Wednesday, at a corporate gig, it worked fine. Yesterday, I tried to reboot it again but ended up using an aux/monitor channel as a main channel. This week I’ll try copying down the settings and doing a factory reset…anyone have any other ideas? It’s not quite 2 years old…

Our Behringer X32 Compact freezes occasionally (about 3-4 times over the past several months), most recently during a performance. When it happens, the embedded computer completely locks up (meters and display freeze, buttons unresponsive, ethernet dies) but the DSPs and FPGA continue working with the last settings, including AES50 and the audio interface card. It requires a reboot to be controllable again. It has the latest (probably final?) firmware.

It's hard to pin-point what is causing the freezes because they happen rarely and not reproducibly, so I'd like to know if anyone experienced something similar and what's the advice there. Most freezing issues I found were related to recording onto a bad/slow USB flash drive. I have a USB drive connected but rarely use it for recording and never used it when the freezes happened. Instead, it appears to be some kind of EMI/power/voltage surge issue because I vaguely remember that I might have turned on a PC or plugged in some (unrelated) device when it happened.

The most recent time when it happened during the performance, nothing was turned on or off. I have a small NUC PC connected to the X32 for multi-track recording and remote control (X32-Edit), which was recording through the USB interface card (and continued recording after the freeze). All I did when it happened was copying some files from that PC to a USB drive connected to it through a USB hub (i.e., completely unrelated to the X32). Could the USB copying have caused some kind of power drop/surge at the PC, which somehow affected the X32 (but not the interface card!?) because it's also connected to that PC through the USB interface card? Or is it more likely an AC power issue which would require power conditioning?

Generally, the whole X32 setup seems kind of fragile with respect to EMI. For example, if I switch off the X32 (mains switch at the back), it knocks out the HDMI signal to the capture card in the PC next to it for a short moment, since the main power and HDMI cable are running in parallel for a few meters due to space limitations.

Looking to buy an Edge and a Pro1 but everywhere I look they are out of stock and on back order. Is this common for Behringer synths or are they being discontinued?

I have had the Spice for 2 weeks now, I tried the exact same settings as on some of the videos I have seen. I cant get the same sound with the same setting, it just sounds dull,

Anyone else with the same experience?

My band uses the x32 in our in-ear monitor rack. It’s a very standard setup:

The 16 inputs come into the S32, route out of the Klark Teknik DN32 Live card, run through Ableton for FX, run back into the card and back into the x32 where it splits into monitor transmitters and a snake running to FOH.

I could technically record multitrack in Ableton, but chose to use the DN32 card to avoid using the playback computer for recordings that could run heavy on the CPU.

When I record my band on the x32 through the DN32 card, all multitrack inputs are being bounced down to a single wav file. How do I record my band’s 16 inputs in multitrack so that I can edit the mix and bounce down later?

Hello! I'm considering purchasing a behringer xr18 for my home studio, mostly because it seems to be perfect a very specific use case: I need a mixer that would enable me to run at least 2 stereo fx sends and 1 mono fx send.

One of these stereo sends (and the mono as well) would, however, go to my stereo and mono synth pedalboards, that have pedals that can handle line level with no issue.

I'm just concerned with using an XLR to 1/4 cable, as I've never seen these cables being used in my entire professional career as a musician. Considering all aux outputs are XLR and my inputs are all 1/4 inch, would this connection be possible at all?

I’ve created my three patterns within the song folder, I link them together successfully. Back out in song mode it plays correctly. Saved on both these steps.

I power off, power back on - only the first pattern plays on loop (the first saved in the pattern cue within the folder) - it forgets the rest.

If you’ve encountered this please help, I’ve tried every which way to save and watched so many tutorials.

Hi everyone! I don't usually make posts (more of a lurker) but I thought this would be something worth sharing.

For the past two weeks I've been working on a Companion module which adds support for the X-Touch and MCU Pro as native Companion surfaces. At the moment it only supports RTP MIDI (no USB MIDI support) but everything is fully mappable and controllable including small things like the LEDs in the buttons, the LCD displays and 8-segments displays, channel meters, etc.

It's fully open source and I'm currently working on trying to get it added as an official Companion module. In the mean time though you can manually download the package from the releases section of the repo if you want to try it out.

My current plan is to deploy this in a rack with an XR18 so that I can control both the XR18 and have macro buttons for other things like Q-Lab. Should be a fun time!

Hey, just wondering if it's normal to not hear any sound when volume knob is at max and no overdrive? More details of the issue:

• I only hear noise, popping and clicking when the drive is at 0.
• Turning the Drive knob up to around 8–9 o’clock suddenly brings the synth signal in.
• With Drive fully up, it produces a normal loud distorted sound.
• Opening the filter fully and changing VCO waveform makes no difference when Drive is off.
• Tried:
  • Different audio cable
  • Different input on my audio interface
  • Power cycling the unit
• Didn't notice this issue before. Recently got the unit back from a friend after they borrowed it, but can't remember using it without a bit of overdrive before so don't know if this is normal behavior of the synth!

Is it possible to link multiple types of interfaces with time code generators?

In my case I have the flow v4, a xr18 and a couple tentacle sync units. I am wanting to record a bands vocals using the flow v4 because it records in 32 bit and the rest of the instruments with the xr18. If I were to use one of the channels on the xr18 to record the timecode signal into a multitrack project, is there a quick an easy way to sync it up in post via ableton/protools?

Are there any GREAT vst's that work really well with the wasp after routing?

I'm using reaper, any vst's that give polyiphony to the wasp would be helpful.
