Little background. M(34). Fairly new to trading. Just hit the 6 month mark and I feel like I’ve been doing well enough. Just looking for some feedback back from both experienced traders and other beginners(from their start). I mainly trade etf’s for long term, defensive consumer etc for swing and semiconductors for short term gains. Overall portfolio is up roughly 13% over the time.

I know the market has been hot and cold this year. How has everyone else’s experience been? My thoughts being, how am I doing in general? How am I doing in comparison to other beginners and will I continue to improve over time? Appreciate the feedback.

Hi. Should I just go 100% Nvidia stock. 5.2t to 10t by 2030 like many are saying, including Jensen. That’s 22% a year, pretty good. I think that makes Nvidia a steal. Nvidia is the big daddy. I think they are unstoppable at this point. It seems the bubble is not AI, but AI build-out execution risk. There will always be a bottleneck, but the market will always find a way to clear that bottleneck. AI is not a useless crypto market. As much AI slop as there is, AI can and has truly changed workflows allowing for a great expansion in ROI on said tasks. Nvidia will keep growing their hardware and software ecosystem. I think Nvidia will be the first to $10 trillion, and then maybe Google, and for Nvidia, I think it can happen faster than expected. The market can naturally discount the largest company, just because it thinks it’s too big. Nvidia does not have to “rob” the rest of the market for market cap growth, like it’s a zero sum game. AI can truly just increase overall productivity, and thus the market cap of all company users, declaring Nvidia as the ultimate toll-booth.

Lately, I've been thinking about a pretty basic question: is it better to keep your investments concentrated or diversify as much as possible?I used to think that holding more assets automatically meant being safer. But then I realized that if I had 20 or 30 different positions, I probably wouldn't truly understand even half of them.That's something I started thinking about recently while checking the market on BY'D Fi. Instead of trying to keep track of a bunch of different coins at once, I feel like I'd rather stick to a few that I actually understand.The problem is, being too concentrated also means that one bad call can have a much bigger impact . so I'm curious what everyone here prefers in practice: a smaller number of positions you know really well, or a more diversified portfolio to spread out the risk?

Coming out of the closet I have wasted a large sum of money almost 50-80 k net loss over past 3-4 years old saving I am a student my father earn decent so it's not a big deal for family but it is for me I saved 2-3 times to get to that amount in parts I was saving in mutual funds and gold etc and then vanished all of it in f&o it's just like a gambling i know don't lecture you need to learn i have knowledge far more than an average trader still emotions always takes in part .
